"You should try going naked underneath the apron."

It worked...? It worked! She was buying it! I pressed on, explaining to her how, really, that was about as much as Gaap wore, right? Her front and back were covered, but from side-view, she was practically naked! Wearing this, Lucifer would be business in the front, party in the back, as they say.

"Hip... You really think she'll think that's cool?"

Oh, definitely, I agreed. I'd even inspect it before she showed it to anyone else.

"Alright, we've still got some time... I'll try it out. Just wait here a moment! I'll be taking this!"

She grabbed the pink, frilly apron with "KISS THE CHEF" written across its chest. This might be even better, if I'd spotted an apron with no top-part, but my luck wasn't quite that phenomenal. Wait a minute... If an apron like this was in here, did that mean Godha wore it? I just shivered a bit. Hopefully, it belongs to the last chef who was hear before he took the position.

For Lucifer, changing into the naked apron was probably pretty embarrassing. She was likely taking her sweet time, trying to see if it really covered all of her boobs, wondering if it was okay to show me, all that kind of stuff. For my part... my eyes were on the clock. I was like Cinderella, except I knew that rather than turning back into a homely girl, I was going to get murdered when the clock chimed, if not a little before.

A tap on my shoulder announced Lucifer's arrival. I spun in time to see her standing there with a somewhat timid smile on her face, now clad only in the apron I'd given her. From the front, it was actually about as modest as her normal outfit. After all, that one showed so much of her thighs already. I told her it was perfect and I watched as her naive smile brightened further, showing a hint of her fangs: the only reminder now that she was a killer demon and not the young, waiting wife from every man's fantasy.
