It's too late for anything else

You walk the halls of House Phoenix making your way down to the second floor. Thinking on your time at the school so far: you had a wildly adventurous relationship with your house senior, a sexual encounter with a voluptuous gnome professor, and now the biggest pain in your ass was slowly becoming more friendly. Life at the Ash Forest Academy was shaping up the be a rather comfortable experience.

Opening the door to your room, you find Pharos curled up in his nest already asleep. It would be best if you did the same so you get undressed and ready for bed. Happy that the day's stresses had sorted themselves out or been worked through, you drift off to sleep dreaming of how beautiful Harmony had looked relaxing in her room with her hair down.

Morning comes and you wake up to get dressed and gather your things for today's classes. You take out the bag of feed and give some to Pharos before going to the dining hall for your own breakfast. After collecting your plate, you scan the tables to find Lee and Brice talking with some other guys. You take a seat and hear Brice talking about his divination class.

"You say the spell words and the text becomes readable." Brice tells the guys at the table.

"Oh, you're in the divination class?" You ask him.

"Yeah, right before lunch with Professor Iladyrin." Brice responds.

"I hear you guys are already working on a project." You say trying to make small talk.

"No. We have mostly been working on translating unknown languages. We also touched on the subject of identifying the magical properties of charms and artifacts." Brice looks slightly confused.

"Oh, I must have misunderstood those guys in the park yesterday." You hesitate to reveal that Harmony was the source of your assumption.

"You ready for illusions class?" Lee jumps into the conversion.

"Yeah. I stayed up late working on it last night. I think I'm ready." You answer. "What about you?"

"I'm definitely ready." Lee sounds confident. "Brice and I found an old grimoire in a lower level of the library on advanced illusion techniques. We had to sneak in because Professor Dove wouldn't let us in. Apparently, that area is reserved for professors and students in her archaic sorcery class."

"I'm guessing it had something helpful?" You inquire.

"It has methods for extending illusions, even under the scrutiny of another illusionist. That exemption is as good as mine." He informs. You consider asking what these methods are but, considering your current abilities with illusions, you decide against it.

"That would be awesome. I can't wait to see the professor's face when you maintain an illusion longer than he is expecting." You encourage.

"Hey, you got any plans for after class? We were thinking about going to Delmorgan Park later to check out the eye candy. We hear there is a girls study group that meets there." Lee explains.

"Well, I was thinking of heading out to Delmorgan myself. The wizard dueling team is holding tryouts there later. I might try out. You guys should too." You tell them.

"Yeah. We might do that." Lee replies. "What do you say, Brice?"

"I don't know man. Those guys are pretty serious. But I can at least come watch." Brice tells you.

"Cool. You guys want to meet up at the House Phoenix gazebo by the fountain after class?" Lee asks.

"Yeah, sounds good." You and Brice agree.

Wrapping up breakfast, you all say your goodbyes and head out. You and Lee, both having illusions first period, walk to class together.
