Food time!

You decide to wait with changing Megan back for now. You put your phone away and nod before saying "Yeah, let's go grab a bite Megs!" and make your way out of the bathroom. On your way out of the clothes shop you almost forget that you both actually have stuff picked out, so a quick pit-stop at the cashier later you walking towards the food court of the mall, with all sorts of restaurants and cafes to choose from you look to Megan for help with picking a destination.

You decide to head into a cosy looking little cafe that is themed like a kind of log cabin type thing you might see at a ski lodge. Megan get's a latte and gives very specific directions on how she wants it to the barista, you on the other hand decide to go for a cappuccino and two large muffins, one chocolate and one vanilla for you and Megan to share.

As you sit down in a quiet part of the cafe you realise you have a hard time actually eating your share of the muffins. The guilt of what you and Megan did while she isn't even herself creeping over you. You take out your phone and open Megan's profile. "Now is not the time for thinking Alice!" you think to yourself, "now is the time for action!" and with a press of the button, you've disabled the "The target will not notice a difference" option.

"Here it comes..." you think, but Megan says nothing. You do notice that shes gone a bit quieter, but no real response, she just sits there sipping her drink.

"Megs?" you ask, a slight hint of worry in your tone. "Yes Al?" she responds as if nothing was wrong. "Wait, does this only apply to changes being made with it disabled?" You focus on your phone again, but without re-enabling the option, you do the same change you did to yourself when first testing out the app. With a single drag of a slider and a push of a button Megan's breasts start growing to the size of a pair of large melons. Megan let's out a "eep!" but quickly places a hand on her mouth as to not yell out while in public.

You undo the change and look up at Megan who is glaring daggers at you. Daggers of confusion that is, but daggers nonetheless.

Slowly uncovering her mouth she whisper-shouts "What the hell was that Al?! Did you do that with your phone?!" You do nothing but nod. Megan's jaw hits the floor, her anger turns to more confusion. But this time, with a sprinkle of excitement in the mix. "Megs, you're a girl, right?" you ask, knowing full well how stupid that question must sound. "What?" Megan answers, giving you a bewildered look. "Yes, of course... why? Did you do something with your phone?!" "NO! No! ...that's the problem. In case you forgot what we just did in the... *cough* bathroom *cough*. That is not us, it's not you! We're best friends, but we've never been lovers! And what we just did was wrong, and it was all because of this stupid app!"

You rant on about what the app can do, and that you should've never let it happen, that you should've stopped Nick somehow and the list goes on.

Suddenly, as you catch your breath before continuing your rant Megan chimes in "But... was it really that bad?" "What? Was what bad?" "Come on Al... The sex! Was the sex bad?" "....." you're speechless. You have no idea how to answer that question. "Was the sex bad? No. No, it was pretty amazing... But why would that matter?!" your mind races through the different possibilities as Megan once again asks "Al, it's a simple question, yes or no, was it bad?"

Finally you admit "No... No it was good. But why does that matter?" you ask as you look up at Megan who is now displaying a huge grin on her face "Awesome. Then it's whatever, if you said something about the app being able to change people's mental states right? So just undo the changed and we'll go back to being best friends, no harm no foul! AND we rocked each others socks off as a bonus!"

"Damn it Megs..." is all you can say to that. "Fine, I'll just change you back mentally, do you want to remember that we were lovers for a second there or will that make things awkward you think?" "Yeah, maybe let's forget that part... But you better tell me more about this app later!" she says with a reassuring smile.

With that, you enable the option so that making the change will let her mind (with a little help from the app) make things make sense for herself again. After the change is done you disable the option again and you feel a massive load fading away off your shoulders... "I asked if you were a girl before, remember?" "Yeah, what a silly question Al, what was that all about?" Megan asks, and so you continue "Well, what's that between your legs?" "My... Oh!" "Yeah, that's also something the app has done. I was wondering if you would like to change it back or if you want to keep it."

Expecting Megan to want it gone you've already changed her profile, you only need to hit the apply button, but then Megan says "Let me keep it for now." "Alright I'll chan-... what?" "I said, let me keep it... Now that I know it's not supposed to be there, I don't want to lose it just yet. That's really weird right?" You can't help but laugh, and you laugh quite loud, loud enough even to attract the attention of a waitress coming to check up on you.

"Is everything all right here?" the waitress asks, but you're too far gone to answer so Megan answers for you, "Yes, don't worry, I made an inappropriate joke when my friend least expect it, and now's she's lost to the giggles." The way Megan emphasize the word giggles just made you laugh even harder. "Could you get my friend a glass of water, please?" "Sure, I'll be right back." the waitress flashes a gentle and friendly smile at both of you and then walks off in a brisk pace.

"So, why did you laugh? I thought I said something weird, not something funny..." Megan asks, but you answer with a simple sentence between giggles. "That answer was just very you"

A moment later you get a glass of water from the friendly waitress and can finally calm down a bit. Afterwards you and Megan chat about the possibilities of the app for a short while before you realise that it's almost time for the movie so you quickly down the rest of your coffees and scarf down the muffins before leaving the cafe and heading over to the movie theatre.
