The sound of breakfast

You're awoken by a smiling Kasumi, an apron over her clothing. "Breakfast is nearly ready John, you'd better be up before it gets cold." You prop yourself up on one elbow, glancing about the room. Now that you're more lucid, and sunlight illuminates the room, you realize that you'd been sleeping in Kasumi's living room. The room seemed to combine a kitchen, dining room, and living room into one space. You realize further that you're absolutely starving. Turning towards the sound of sizzling, you see Kasumi working on breakfast. You sit up fully, and the smell hits you. Your mouth begins to water as the smell of bacon fills the room. "Go ahead and wait at the table, it's almost done" You comply, and kneel at the table opposite of Kasumi's end of the room. A couple of minutes later, Kasumi carries over two plates of bacon and eggs. "I'm not sure what breakfast fare is in human country, but here's how we do it in Masak"

"It's perfect, actually. Exactly what I'd have normally. " You dig into the plate, scarfing down the food. You'd only eaten hard tack and dried meat for the better part of a week, and hadn't eaten for what you'd guess to be days. Kasumi watches you eat with a faint smile

"I had a feeling you'd be hungry. Don't worry, I made plenty." You gaze at your savior, wondering if you'd been rescued by the perfect woman.

"That would be great" Kasumi takes you plate, and loads it up with more food. You reach for the plate, but she holds it just out of your grasp. "Could you hand me the plate Kasumi?" She cocks and eyebrow at you, a hint of a smirk on her face. "Please?"

"Of course" she responds "Thank you for asking so politely" You grab the plate from her hand, digging in. After a third plate, Kasumi pipes up "I'm glad to see you're doing better. I'm sure you're curious about what happened and where you are, so feel free to ask any questions you feel necessary. "
