“Alright, I’ll accept your bet! If you fail, you’ll have to promise never to target my friends and I again!” Millie retorted. If she took the bait, she wasn’t going to walk away with just the satisfaction of winning the bet.

“Deal! With that settled, I’m off. You should get yourself ready!” Barry left, presumably to search in vain for a victim.

“Wow, Millie!” Tessa laughed. “Can’t believe that bastard actually made that bet!”

“Yeah, that perverted idiot! As if he could barrow anyone here! At least we’ll be safe from now on,” Millie replied confidently. “Let’s go get more drinks. I feel like celebrating!”

In a small corner of her mind, Millie thought that they were being really overconfident. However, the prospect of seeing that stuck-up asshole defeated and humiliated drowned out any doubts that she had.
