Steve Smith

Steve was running for his life, earlier today he accidentally bumped into the captain of the football team. He told Steve to meet him behind the school after school. When the final bell rang, Steve bolted from school. He heard several voices behind him, he gulped. He needed to find a place to hide and fast. Then he spotted a weird looking store, he quickly went in.

As Steve was catching his breath, he took a look around. It was dark with rows and rows of strange object. He gulped, so many horror stories started in places like these. Gulping again, he decided to look around. Maybe he could find something cool, he thought. Really he was just wasting time, hoping those jocks would forget about him and go away.

As he looked at the varies object, he spotted a weird looking ring. It was gold with a large diamond in the center. He picked it up, and study it.

" Great choice." Said a femininie voice behind him.

Steve jumped and screamed, he turned around. Standing in front of him was a middle age woman. She had long blood red hair and icy blue eyes. She was wearing a black dress and a purple cape.

" H.h.hello." Said Steve nervously.

" Hello, young man. So I see you want the Yes Man's ring." Said the red hair woman.

" The Yes Man's ring ?" Asked Steve curiously.

The woman told him about the ring history, Steve didn't believe her at all. Magic was all none sense, yes he loved fantasy stories and stuff, but it was all make believe.

" I can tell you don't believe me." Said the woman, with a smirk.

Steve gulped, he didn't believe her but he was to afraid to say it.

" Well, why don't you buy it and see for yourself." Said The woman, smiling at him.

" How much ?" Asked Steve, the woman said for him, one hundred dollars.

Steve did have that much, but he was planing to buy some video games with that money. The woman was staring at him, Steve gulped as he pulled out the money and gave it to her. She thanked him, as he put the ring on.

Steve felt scammed as he left the store, he looked at the ring. Maybe he could pawn it for money later.

" There he is!" Shouted a male voice behind him.

Steve turned around and saw four jocks, they quickly surrounded him. The captain was cracking his knuckles, " Time to teach you a lesson about bumpimg into me." Said the Captain.

Steve was scared, his mind was racing, trying to think of a way out of this. He closed his eyes.

" I didn't bump into you!" Shouted Steve, he didn't know why he said that. He waited for the punching to begin but it didn't happen. He slowly opened his eyes, to his surprised the four jocks where just standing around him. They all looked confuse, this made Steve both happy and curious.

" Then why are we surrounding you ?" Asked the Captain.

Steve didn't understand what was happening, then he looked at the ring. He blinked a few times. Could it be real, could it be magical, he thought to himself. So Steve decided to try something.

" You here to pay me for those essays I wrote for you." Said Steve, hoping this would work.

" You're right, we completely forget. So how much do we owe you?" Asked the Captain.

Steve smiled, as he said one hundred dollars each. The jocks pulled out their wallets and quickly gave him one hundred dollars each. Then the jocks left, Steve just stood their for a moment. It took him a minute for him to fully realized what just happened to. He looked at the ring again and grinned. It was real, he had a magic ring.

He jumped in the air and yelled yes. He started imagining all the fun he could have with this. He raced home, thinking about the varies things he wanted to do.
