Epilogue: Several Years Pass

Lois couldn't hold her laugh well enough to withhold a chortle. Her two daughters, younger lying upon the other, seemed to be deep asleep, but that took some diplomacy to accomplish. Leda, the young one, was resting upon her sister, Aria. Kid upon a kid. Angelica and Lois were eyeing them with proud and amused looks.

"I never thought Aria would turn out so patient. She is demon-born in body and mind." Blaze whispered. A learned skill when having kids.

"She's a big sister. That means things." Lois said in a hushed tone, holding on to her "husbands" hand, ear in shoulder.

"They're beautiful." Blaze smiled, her fangs poking out. Only at home was she safe with showing them.

Lois brought her hand around her husband and lover.

"A loving father and mother." Lois kissed Blaze's neck, "Beats being a queen of hell?"

"Without doubt." Blaze shifted back to human form, turning to her lover.

"We have some hours before they wake up..." mumbled the the wife sultrily.

Blaze, quietly, as if picking fruit from a neighbors garden, swooped up Lois and stealthily paced backwards to the bedroom, with Lois in the carriage of her mighty arms.

Aiden was born six months later.
