You would feel bad for Sarah if you said no so you agreed to follow. You realized once you stepped off the main path, the dense undergrove was almost impossible to maneuver through. Your clothes snagged nearly every step of the way and lost your balance numerous times. To your surprise, Tiffany and Sarah were swiftly and effortlessly cutting through the trees and shrubs. "Oh, we came through here a bunch of times before," Tiffany said when you asked her how she was moving so fast.

The destination was a small open space with a stagnant pool of water. Tiffany motioned you to crouch down and stay silent. "Look over there." She whispered. Across the muddy pool, you noticed the small burrow. "I see it, but there's nothing there." You whispered. "Just give it a moment," Sarah whispered back. The three of you waited until suddenly, you heard the crunch of leaves and a small rabbit emerged from deeper in the forest to the entrance hole. And when you squinted your eyes you could make out three tinier rabbits barely poke their heads out to meet the adult, presumably their mother. "Aww, aren't they adorable!" Tiffany squealed.

"They are..." you said. It was at that moment when disaster struck. Too distracted by the sight, you lost balance from your crouched position and tumbled right into the pool of water. The rabbits disappeared into their hole. "Sam!" Both sisters jumped up and shouted. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah..." You groaned and tried to rise. You weren't hurt but your clothes were thoroughly caked in mud. Unfortunately, the spot you landed in had only a very shallow surface of water and was mostly mud. And it smelled absolutely foul. To add to your bad luck, because of the battering your clothes already took on your way here, the mud and branches that snagged at your clothes had opened large tears in them. Your shirt was now hanging from your left shoulder while your right was bare. And worse, after you stood up, your pants did not come up with you and had torn right off of you.

Trying to free your pants turned out to be a mistake as you lost your balance again and this time plunged into the mud face first. You thought you were going to suffocate until Tiffany and Sarah came to your rescue, each one grabbing one of your arms to pull you out. They dragged your body to a dry spot and helped you clean off all the excess mud. Once you could see again after getting most of the mud off your face, you began to worry at the state of your remaining clothes.
