Chapter 101 by DangerSloth

Wandering Eyes
"If Dumbledore hadn't defeated Grindelwald and imprisoned him. We may have had 2 Dark Lords running about. Shame," said Aurora. Her eyes quickly fluttered to me before returning to the lesson.
"She keeps looking back here," said Padma. This was normal behavior. I had already been caught by Aurora a couple times looking at her bending over.
"She's probably just making sure I am paying attention to her lesson," I said.
"I'm talking about Granger." I looked, and within moments, saw the witch turn away from a whispering Harry Potter and turn towards me.
"Don't smile back at her," said Padma. She pulled out the Daily Prophet from her bag, and put it in front of me. It was the article from yesterday. Only it was altered from yesterday. The paper now had tons of marks from pen on it in the article, and parts were cut up. Hermione's ass was untouched though.
"You sure left the picture untouched," I said? Padma blushed unmistakably, covering the picture with a book.
"She has a great ass okay," said Padma, "but what I am telling you has more substance than that." Her fingers traced along a single sentence in the article.
"granger is Loved by most professors at hogwarts, havIng been top of her clAss since heR first year." Read the article. Padma's fingers traced it back and forth.
"Don't you see," said Padma? I could see that some of the letters were capitalized for no reason.
"Her editor is terrible at his job,"I said.
"The capitalization spell out 'LIAR'," said Padma. "And there is another sentence where all the words are spelled wrong, but if you take all the letters that are missing it spells out-"
"Obsessed," I said.
"Deceived," finished Padma, "Weird things are beginning to happen at this school, and the timing of her becoming interested in you after hating you for years makes no sense. Even though she is slimy, I think these misspelling's, and words she sneaks into these articles are too much of a coincidence to be just 'obsession.'"
I could see Padma's point, but thinking these words in articles were a message Rita Skeeter was trying to send. That was too much.
"Leave it to a girl to know when a girl is being slimy," said Padma," and Hermione Granger knows she has a hold on you. We need to investigate her. Find out why she is focused on you." Padma really didn't want me to go on that date with Hermione. But was it just jealousy, or did this newspaper really have a warning for me?
