You next wake to the light of day invading the darkness of your new home. It takes a moment to realize just where you are. You’ve never had a home like this in all of your previous spawns. It’s going to take a bit of getting used to.

Once more you pull up your character sheet to review and notice that your fame has increased during the night.

A quest? It was non-lethal; but still… what was a scout quest? What was Frey after? It had to have been her that issued the quest. There wasn’t too much point in thinking too long on it. It would be better to spend the time preparing for an increase in adventurers in the area from the quest. On that note you now had enough fame to purchase a rank in the Packleader upgrade… Might as well take one and see what it did for you. You open the menu and select it, confirming the choice without further deliberation.

You had no idea how quickly or how pronounced the effects of the ability would be, but at 10 fame you didn’t have a lot to lose by spending a bit on it. You also notice that after last night your Hunters Cunning buff had taken effect and you now had a bonus of +1 to your wits. With the review and purchase of the new ability out of the way it was time to get up and moving. You’d need to find some food today. You leave your shack and prepare to head out when movement at the edge of the clearing catches your eye. A grin slowly spreads as you see Sylvana warily exit the cover of the trees.

“Well hello, little rabbit.” Her stuttering timidness reminded you of nothing so much as one of the skittish little creatures. She stops a fair distance away and you notice after a moment of focus that her name hasn’t changed to show any red of hostility. A bit of a surprise after last night.

“You said you would return the rune stones.” She speaks softly, her eyes downcast. In the light you can see that her skin is indeed in varying shades of greens and browns as you would expect of a wood nymph. Her cheeks are a darker green than the rest of her face and you wonder if she’s blushing.

“No. I asked what you would be willing to do for them. I never said I would give them back after that.” You watch as her gaze jerks up and her mouth falls open silently, working as if to say something more. “I will return them, but I want something from you in return. Join me.” You tell her, your gaze piercing her with a predators intensity. The moment you made the comparison of her to a rabbit the desire to devour her reared its head. “Invite Sylvana.” You speak to the air and a dialogue box pops up asking you to confirm your invitation of the nymph to your pack. The only question that remained was if she would join you willingly or if you would have to **** her. If you had to you could find her home tree and be there for each time that she respawned until you broke her will to resist.
