Link goes to see Princess Zelda, and absorbs her.

Despite a part of her protesting the idea, Link realized that absorbing Princess Zelda was an amazing idea. Not only could she try out being a princess for a while, but she could also utilize whatever magical know-how she had. With that in mind, Link left for the palace, where she told a messenger to get word to the Princess that Margery wanted to see her. Within minutes, the messenger had returned, and told Link that the Princess was waiting for her in the Royal Study. The attendant tried to lead Link there, but Link sped walked fast enough to lose him. She knew where she was going.

Once at the door, Link opened it and stepped into the ornate, solemn study where Zelda waited for her. "Link! I hadn't expected you to find the culprit so soon! But I'm glad you have! How d-"

Before she could finish, Link rushed up to her and kissed her on the lips, passionately. After a moment of hesitation, Zelda leaned into it and started kissing back. After a few seconds of that, Link drew back, and watched Zelda's confused face for a moment before lifting the seashell to her mouth and absorbing her. In an instant, Link knew everything she did, and could turn into her, if she wanted.
