...Sheik. At the sight of his friend's face, Link's pale visage broke into a smile and carefully unwrapped the webbing near his face. "Sheik! It's good to see you!" she said, meaning every word of it.

At first, Sheik stared at her, completely confused with what in the hell was happening. Than he put it together. "Link, is that you?" She nodded. "Well, that explains the sightings of a giant spider woman and the complete decimation of the local tektite population...only you could somehow do...whatever this is to yourself. What exactly is this?"

It didn't take long for Link to explain the whole story: the fortune teller, her ointment, the spider, the transformation, the tektites, and the nest. "Honestly, I wouldn't mind never turning back. It's not so bad."

That raised an eyebrow from Sheik. "What about defeating Ganondorf? Saving Hyrule?"

That raised a huff from Link, who put her hands on her thorax. "Are you saying that a woman can't do those things? Sheik, I can't believe you! I would never have thought you'd be so sexist!" Then she gave him a wink, and added, "Just joking. But I do think I can still do that, even like this Sheik. Who knows, maybe Ganondorf is actually really scared of spiders."

Sheik looked around the nest, frowning. "Will you want to leave your nest? Your instincts in this form seem pretty strong, and you set traps for intruders. Honestly, it's a little scary..."

That made Link laugh. "What did you think I was going to eat you?" Then something occurred to Link...
