Chapter 12 by hewhoismany

How does Trucy aim to help?

If Uncle Larry could be transformed into a steady job, that would be great!

One of Uncle Larry's biggest life goals was finding a job he could do for the rest of his life. That's why the next time she saw her uncle, she gave him the gold coin. "It's a good luck charm!" she told her uncle. "Just take this to the next place where you have a job interview, and I know you'll get the job, for sure!" Trucy did everything she could to stress that this was going to work and that he had to make sure the coin was on him.

Most other people would have just humored the girl, but Larry Butz was not most people. He took the coin with confidence and determination, completely believing that Trucy was telling him the truth, that this coin would ensure he'd get the job of his dreams. Because of that, Larry waited a bit before heading to his next job interview, making sure whatever it was, it was something he'd want to do for the rest of his life.

How does this turn out?
