The egg began to crack around the time the two Victinis had lunch on a nearby tree to their den, where the egg was in plain sight. Once the first crack happened, Ash fell off of his branch, while Victini squealed and quickly flew down to their child, which began to crack the shell at a slow and steady rate. "Take your time, my child. Your father and I will wait for you to enter the living world."
Ash, covered in bruises from falling off a branch came in just as a little red hand shot out of the crack in the shell. Ash moved quickly to get a closer look, and the egg broke open just as he got to his mate.
A baby Victini opened its blue eyes to look at its parents. It reached out to them, saying "Ti!" and "Ni!", which both parents could interpret as saying "Mommy! Daddy!"
Victini took her mate to where their child was sitting. She picked up her child and checked the genitals. No penis. It's a girl.
"Our daughter..." She said, handing the newborn girl to her husband. "Our beautiful Match."
