Reunion

Gasping, Rey pulled herself up to the top of the ladder, climbing out onto the top level in the darkness. She fumbled with one of her lightsabers for a moment before activating it, illuminating the way ahead.

A blue light illuminated the tunnel. She got to her feet, chest heaving, catching her breath from the climb. At least she was almost out of this place.

She was pretty sure her ship should be down that way.

Something bleated. Bewildered, slightly panicked, Rey whirled around, holding the lightsaber before her.

For a moment she stood there, naked, body illuminated by the flickering blue, breasts visible over both shaking arms, sex bare as she gripped the hilt with both hands. Then she yelped, almost dropped the saber, and drew one hand back to cover her breasts, while holding the hilt in a shaking hand a good few inches in front of her core.

Ben was standing behind her again, the gently glowing ghost, with a look of concentration on his face. The nerf was floating up over the gap she’d just climbed.

“Ben?!” she yelped.

He waited a few seconds to reply, focusing. The nerf was gently deposited on the ground. Immediately it ran over to Rey to nuzzle her stomach affectionately. She blushed, turning the lightsaber off as it got close, now lit up by Ben’s new luminescence.

“I figured out some of this **** stuff,” he said. “Brought the nerf.”

“You lifted it up here?” Rey said.

“Yeah,” he said proudly.

“You figured out how to carry something up the ladder,” Rey said.

“Wanted to come with you,” Ben said.

“And you used it, not to stop me climbing the ladder naked, and help me up here in a way where I could still cover myself, but to rescue the nerf?” she said, blushing.

Ben hesitated.

“He’s a good nerf,” he said defensively.

“Ben!”

“I’m calling him Jar Jar,” Ben said.

Rey stared.

“Apparently it’s a name from before the first Empire,” Ben said. “I don’t know exactly who it is, but he worked with my grandmother. I’m assuming he was a popular, well-loved figure.”

Rey continued to stare, bright red.

“The nerf’s going to be fine!” Ben said.

The newly christened Jar Jar offered a friendly bump into her hand, unwittingly knocking it away from covering her core. Rey yelped and snatched it back.

“Well why don’t you are… Jar Jar lead the way out of here?” Rey said.

If she were alone, she could just about bear not covering up. With him here though, she wanted to use her arms to hide, so using a lit lightsaber for illumination scarcely bore thinking about.
