Steak and potato

You hear the zeron voice again asking that you head outside to your garden. You head to the door that leads to the large outdoor area inside your habitat. You see a big crowd has gathered of all different species. You see what looks like a group of young college students. There is one zeron (they seem to run everything) wearing a Galactic Council badge who seems to be the tour guide or maybe your keeper.

She speaks to the group. Your translator picks up "Ladies, gentlemen others and non-stated. Allow me to formally introduce William our newest ambassador. William is a human from the planet called Earth in the Sol system. William is a male of the species. Humans are non-threatening so as you all know, they get to roam free except for mealtime, like now." She explains. There was a cheer from the crowd. You see the school group take out some kind of clipboard to make notes.

"This is William's first feeding time as an ambassador so even I don't know what to expect. William will be given a choice of Earth meals and whatever he chooses will be transported here." the Zeron continues.

A screen pops up in front of you with a list of some of your favorite foods. You select steak and potato. As soon as your selection has been chosen the screen vanishes.

"William has chosen an Earth delicacy from a land called Usa" The Zeron tells the crowd. You think she means United States.

"That's an abbreviation, not a word. It's called the U.S.A." You call up to correct her. You feel it is your duty as ambassador to get the facts correct.

"My apologies, as some of you may have heard William just corrected me telling me that the land is called U.S.A., very confusing." She picks up on your correction. You see the school group scribble out notes and add the correction. "Any way the delicacy is called steak and potatoes. Humans are Omnivores and this dish consists of the flesh of native bovine creatures..." There are a few gasps from some of the bovine aliens. "...with one tuber of a native plant called a potato. The flesh is cooked on a hot surface called a grill or some humans call it a barbecue. The dish is often served with sauces but there are different kinds of sauces to choose from. What all the sauces have in common is that they are mixtures of juice made from different native fruits and vegetables, fermented native fruit they call vinegar, and sodium chloride. These sauces are often called steak sauce, barbecue sauce or catsup. The potato is often covered with a mixture of vegetables and processed milk products. The meal is often served with an even more fermented mixture of grains and herbs" After the zeron explains your meal in **** detail you see a plate descend from above the habitat. On it is steak and potato with steak sauce on the steak and sour cream and chives on the potato and a beer to drink. You took the plate and sat at a picnic table. If the crowd was going to watch you eat, you might as well give them a good show.

You don't know how the council did it but this was exactly right. Your best guess was that this was **** directly from a steakhouse. It tasted great and you completely forgot the crowd of aliens watching and taking notes.

You just finished your last sip of beer when you heard the zeron say "Thank you all for coming. The next feeding is over at the zoob habitat. I have been Z7 the biped keeper. Thank you and hope to see you again."

So this zeron was called Z7 and was the keeper for all bipeds. She comes and stands by your picnic table. You stand up because that's the polite thing to do.
