Watching a movie with a naked Daisy Ridley!

You’re not about to tell Daisy this, obviously – but getting to watch a movie with a hot, naked celebrity in a bath full of slowly-dissipating bubbles makes the movie itself kind of irrelevant, to be honest. For the first twenty minutes, you’re just concentrating on trying not to notice the way Daisy’s glistening cleavage rises out of the water every time she laughs – but then, in spite of everything, you find yourself getting drawn into the movie.

Maybe it’s Daisy’s influence, but you’ve seriously never seen someone enjoy a movie this much. When she’s not mouthing along with the dialogue, she’s laughing out loud at the jokes and groaning sympathetically at the embarrassing parts. Once you get to the part with the secret wedding video, Daisy glances over at you, and you see real tears shining in her eyes.

‘See?’ Her voice is wobbly, and you have to laugh. ‘I told you this movie always makes me cry!’

If she wasn’t in a bathtub, you might have summoned up the courage to put your arm around her. As it is, all you can do is lift your hand and gently stroke a wet strand of hair out of her face. Daisy sniffs, looking grateful, and nuzzles your palm slightly.

Encouraged, you slip your hand behind her head and slowly stroke her hair. Daisy makes a pleased sound, settling into your cupped palm and returning her attention to the movie. You run your fingers through her wet brown hair every so often, marveling inwardly at how silky it is – but the movie’s got you both engrossed now.

As the climax nears, Daisy slips a hand out of the water and hunts around for yours, never taking her eyes off the screen. You find her fingers, squeezing hard, and together you watch the finale at the airport in absorbed silence.

When the credits finally roll, Daisy is crying again – but they’re happy tears, at least as far as you can make out. ‘Sorry,’ she sniffs, blinking up at you. ‘Just had a stupid thought.’

You smile back at her. ‘Yeah? What was it?’

‘Oh, it doesn’t matter.’ Daisy wipes at her eyes delicately. ‘I just realized that… I’d never actually seen this movie with someone who enjoyed it as much as me. I mean, I watched it with my sister, but she kept texting her boyfriend… and I watched it with my ex, but he got bored after ten minutes. It’s just nice to share it with someone.’

You smile, a little embarrassed. ‘Yeah, it was all right, actually. Not a bad movie. Decent script.’

‘Not a bad movie?’ Daisy butts against your palm gently. ‘You loved it, you liar. I saw you. I wasn’t the only one tearing up when Andrew got his kiss.’

‘Hey, it’s steamy in here.’

‘Right, condensation.’ Daisy laughs. ‘Well, anyway, thanks for watching it with me. Bet I look like an absolute prune now… I suppose I should really get out. Be a darling and fetch me a towel?’
