After fumbling over the start of her sentence a few times she finally managed to say. "I've never been alone with a man before. I've only ever slept in the women's barracks for the city guard." Even tired as I was it only took me a second to understand what she said and implied. "I'm not asking you to have sex with me but there is only one bed here and you look like you could use some sleep as much as me. The floor would be uncomfortable and keep either of us from sleeping well so we will have to share the bed for now."

I turned away to allow her some privacy and some space on the bed when she was done. I could hear her unbuckling straps and the heavy sound her armor made as she took it off piece by piece, it was taking every bit of will and energy I had left to not roll over and watch her. The bed shifted as she laid down and moved under the blanket beside me. Trying and failing to suppress my growing hardon I adjusted the crotch of my pants and tried to rest.

I wasn't sure if it was because of Limira laying next to me or just everything that had happened so quickly today, but I couldn't fall asleep. I tossed and turned which turned out to be a mistake when I saw Limira on her back soundly asleep. The blanket we were sharing had slid down to reveal her naked breast. I went down to the dining room area where Limira had gotten the key for our room earlier. I was surprised to see there were still other people there chatting and drinking. I went over to a table in the corner and sat down, a young girl came over to me and asked if there was something I would like to have. She was wearing a very tattered shirt that looked to be a few sizes too big for her and I could see an iron bangle on her left wrist. I thought to myself she must be a **** owned by the innkeeper.

Not really knowing what else might be available I said "just a sandwich and something smooth to drink." She bowed briefly and quickly went off to the kitchen. As I sat and waited for her to come back my thoughts drifted to things that had gone on. 'I really need to learn more about this world as fast as I can before something else comes along to mess up this second chance.'
