Looking towards this strange robot, you shake your head. You've been to this place tons of times. There's no way that your Aunt just decided one day to revamp the entire layout of her manor.

"I'll pass." you answer, Aurelia nodding. It would be effective, if not for the fact that her 'gaze' wasn't anywhere near where your head actually was. You would think whoever designed these... 'things' would actually put proper eyes or some sort of sensor that let them track your head movement. But what did you know? You were just some guy - a small speck in the sea of billions that made up life on earth.

Nonetheless, you head forward. Maybe if you're lucky, your aunt will somehow be nearby. Then you can get an explanation and life will be good.

Okay, as close as one can get to such a point. But as you head further down the hall, you find yourself disoriented. The interior looks the same as ever. The walls are dark green with gold accents, while the floor is some plain carpet that was probably brought from some fancy place and costs a fortune. You're not a carpet exp-

Okay... you weren't expecting that to happen. Nonetheless, you continue further down the hall. Only to come to a stop a couple yards later.

Before you is a set of tubes. The leftmost one appears to be occupied with a robot much like the one you were let in by. That doesn't explain why the other tube is empty though. Heck, there is even an opening of sorts to enter. Maybe a little peek wouldn't be so bad?
