After some quick exchanges with both women, you inform Lily that, according to the radio alerts, the storm isn't going to let up for at least a day or two. She trembles in her seat while the wind howls loudly outside. Exhaling, she nods and starts contacting her friends and family to let them know what's happening, while you start going through boxes in your spare room.

Digging out the portable gas stove your camping friends gave you, you manage to make some coffee for the pair of you. The coffee is bitter and acidic, but it's hot, strong and familiar. Letting out a sigh of relief, you return to Lily and tell her that you've got enough food and water, but you're going to have to save the gas for food and coffee. She laughs nervously, and remarks that she could really go for a shower. Trying to lighten the mood, you gesture to the window with your mug and let her know that it's right outside. Her response is an annoyed frown and a punch to your arm, just painful enough to be a warning.

The storm rages on into the night and the two of you are huddled together under a sheet to stay warm. Djal has disappeared again, presumably keeping both Melissa's and your houses safe from the worst of it. Lily shivers uncomfortably next to you, your still damp clothes doing almost nothing to help. It dawns on you that you have some dry clothes in your bedroom. The two of you shuffle awkwardly there and you toss her a t-shirt for her to change into.

Too cold and scared to complain, she strips down to her underwear and pulls the shirt over her head. You notice that her entire body is covered in tattoos, and what surprises you most is that she's wearing lacy underwear with a floral motif. You can't help but whistle at her and she flips you the bird, but she whistles back when you get changed. A thoughtful look comes over her face when she sees the thick blankets you have in your closet.
