Onsen

Hailing from Konoha, inevitably you’re more interested in what the village has to offer in terms of its onsen, or hot spring. While earlier, you might not care whether you reek or not but being in a place full of people, you feel a bit conscious about how you smell. While your healing capability allows faster recovery from strenuous activities such as the non-stop trekking through the area you did prior arriving to this village, it’s still nice to soak in the hot spring to relax the muscles.

So, to the onsen you go, followed by Rikako.

Entering through the main door, a wave of sulfur smell and heated air hits you. Definitely a hot spring. An old woman greeted you, reminding you of Konoha’s paid bath houses.

As if knowing what you’re “Even though this place is a communal bath, we still need someone to take care of the whole place. So, what would you like to do first, Naruto? Would you like to take your bath, or would you like some massage?”

You look at the signs. Surely enough, there’s few signs leading to what you assume are the baths and one leading to a massage room. Another one simply mentioned ‘Meeting Room,’

“You conduct meetings at bath house?” you inadvertently say out loud.

“Of course. It’s more convenient that way,”

You recall Jiraiya telling you about how some nobles would go discuss matters in sauna, believing that since they come there only clad in towels, they are showing their sincerity. Of course, he then added, that is not true and not few are willing to come fully naked even as their mouths are full of lies and false promises.

So, about the choices that you’re presented with...

The obvious choice is go have a bath.

The second one is to have a massage.

Last, have a look at the meeting room. It has piqued your interest.
