Endless Series
A newcomer in the field of 4X, Amplitude studios made its way into the genre with Endless Space, a space 4X which hinged on making each faction distinct, focused on asymmetrical gameplay. The game secured the studio's future, giving them the power to release Endless Legends, a hex-based game which expanded the lore and history of the universe. Endless Space 2 made the game more user friendly, at the cost of removing factions from the base game and creating a new canon. Regardless of which you choose, know that whatever faction you lead, your vision is their future.
