At the town

Your little band of people make your way to town. There are cheers from the people of the town the injured are taken to the town healer, Shakaste goes with them. Harrold and Sarah give you thanks and say that you are always welcome at their house. People are curious about the large creature you have swaddled but you keep the baby hidden not wanting to alarm the town. Harrold supports you on this it turns out together they own an Inn witch gives them some sway in the town. You meet Hwin's family and her farter thanks you for saving her life.

She tells her farter of her intention to become a knight and travel with you. He accepts this and implores you to keep an eye on her. "Please keep my daughter safe, she may not be my heir but I still love her. I always dreaded the day that she would leave either to marry some man or seak her fortune. I am glad she has someone to look out for her." He tells you.

There is a brief funeral for the woman you could not save. The priest who presided over the funeral helped to embalm the body of the Manticore so that it would not spoil before you got to the king. At the end of the funeral, a solemn question is asked: What is to be done with Mary, the now orphaned girl.

"I want to stay with the Centar, he saved me." Mary replied clinging to your legs it is a bit award because at your hight she stands under your front legs bringing the back of her head close to your sheath. Her hair tickles the tip of your sheath.

"Mary do you mind moving out from between my legs, please." You asked.

"Yes, Mr Storm." She replied and moved back in front of you but did not let go of your leg.
