Where does the couple go?
Dinner.
It wasn’t the most fancy restaurant in town, but you wouldn’t be able to tell it from the way some of the patrons were dressed.
“So... how’s things?” Melody asked.
“Good.” Timmy said, watching two men having a Lunch meeting who were both in imposing gowns. “Really good.”
“Great.” She said “so... I’ve been thinking. I think we progressed long enough in our relationship, I think it’s time you meet my family.”
“Do you have an idea when?” Timmy asked, taking out the rule book, which he’d stuck a post-it note on the front that said “day planner”
“Is Friday good for you?” She asked?
“Old Rule: when family members are introduced to a members’s significant other, it is always a black bow affair”
He chuckled remembering he’d eliminated ties.
“What’s so funny, this is a serious event.”
“No, just something Chad said the other night in bed made me laugh.”
“How is your relationship with him working out?” Melody asked
(Chapter author’s note: the boyfriend and girlfriend options for Timmy are not completely mutually exclusive.)
“He’s good.”
“So anyway,” she continued “I think you should wear that incredible Versace gown your parents bought you last year.”
“Last year?” Timmy asked quietly. He though something must have been wrong and flipped the book open. His original change was still there and said “new rules...”
They eat thier meal, and got up to leave “we still on for a movie?” Melody asked.
Do they go see a movie? Or do you just want to skip to the party?
