Seriously?

"Wait what? The punishment for a mistake like not knowing who someone is can not only get them turned into a **** but also be taken out on an entire city. Who the hell decided that was a good idea?" At this point the question was rhetorical. I knew it was something "god" did and I could picture him laughing it omnipotent ass off at my reaction.

What are you giving me that look for? I spent decades with him before deciding alright. He's not as much of a "nice guy" as everybody thinks. Are you going to keep doubting me or can I get on with the story?

Limira seemed to mistake my incredulity for rage and dropped her head to the ground so fast I thought she might have injured herself. "Please forgive me Sir I did not mean to anger you." she said. I thought it was almost funny this beautiful woman, a guard both armed and armored was terrified of me just for the position I seemed to hold in this society. "Relax I'm not angry just shocked at how different things are. Staying like that can't be comfortable for you come make yourself comfortable I've still got other questions and theres no point in you being uncomfortable while we talk."

She seemed to debate moving for a moment and then looked up to see if I was serious. When she saw the slight smile I had on my face she relaxed a little and moved to sit infront of me in a very formal style. 'Guess I should probably resolve the issue of punishing her otherwise I dont think she's ever going to relax around me' I thought. "I have decided on what punishment you will recieve." I could see her geting worried. "You will stay with me for the next 7 days to answer my questions and help me learn about this world as well as my position in it."

This time it was her turn to be shocked and it showed on her face. She looked so funny I had to stifle a chuckle. "T-that's it? That's all you want from me, a tour guide in payment for threatening you?" That sent me over the edge I rolled over laughing and I could see her shock changing to getting mad. After I took a moment to straighten myself out I explained to her. "I am sorry for laughing but you looked so funny being surprised. With how your behaviour has been so far I was starting to think that was just how you were all the time." Her budding anger suddenly changed to embarrassment and then came right back again when I chuckled watching her blush.

"I am completely new to this world and know less than a child in terms of how things work here beyond what you have told me so far. While being a 'tour guide' may seem a trivial thing to ask for in payment of a debt, information is the most valuable thing to me right now without it I would probably end up either being used, enslaved or dead within the week. Whats more it also gives me a reason to have a trustworthy and beautiful woman near me for a week."

I could see her blush a shade or three darker when I called her beautiful. Looking at her with this expression on her face was starting to make my belt a little too tight but before I could do anything about that I could hear more people approaching.
