It Works Perfectly

All the knowledge you'd taken in about double battles from the textbooks you'd read comes flooding back to you, and you command both of your pokemon excellently, getting them to act as a unit, making sure to protect each other from attacks and work together to deal damage. Pidgey using its wings to fan Charmeleon's flames in the direction of Rattata works particularly well, and the Team Rocket member's lack of double battle experience as well as the numbers advantage you have means that it's not too long before his pokemon faints, the Rocket Fuel not enough to power it through the **** by your two team members.

"God fucking dammit!" he yells, his voice cracking with sheer rage.

"Yes!" you cheer. You run over to congratulate your two pokemon. "Great job, guys!" A part of you feels a little wrong for winning the battle in the manner you did, like you've betrayed your moral code or something, but you reason that the Team Rocket member was the first person to cheat anyway, and the relief of not being violated by this man far outweighs any misgivings you might otherwise have.

"You fucking cunt!" the man snarls, grinding his teeth in anger. "Just you wait! There's a lot more of us in this cave than just me; you'll never beat all of us!"

"No, she won't." A dark-haired man wearing glasses and a white lab coat approaches from behind the Team Rocket member, his soft voice nevertheless echoing around the cave. Your heart drops as you see that he is also wearing a Team Rocket uniform under his coat, and the guy that you just defeated turns around and smiles, his anger fading away almost immediately.

"Ah, Miguel," he says, greeting his ally, before gesturing in your direction. "This bitch used two pokemon against me in a battle at once. You might want to get some backup; if a few of you use the Rocket Fuel you should be able to take out her pokemon; then we can take her back to HQ and teach her a lesson. Make her pay for defying Team Rocket, huh?"

Miguel's face is an emotionless mask, and he seems to choose his words carefully before speaking. "Like I said, she won't be beating any of us... because we won't be battling her."

Miguel's fellow Team Rocket member looks taken aback, and his previous anger quickly returns to his face. "What do you mean you won't battle her?! What the hell, man?! Look at her! She's the perfect fuck-toy! Making sluts like her learn their place is what Team Rocket is all about!"

Hatred surges through you at his words, but you dare not speak up in case you end up in more trouble.

"Team Rocket is about the boss's plan, Brandon," says Miguel, raising his voice slightly. His colleague, Brandon, suddenly looks nervous; clearly this man is higher ranked than him. "The boss sent us here to gather moon stones, pokemon fossils; resources that we scientists can use to produce more Rocket Fuel. The boss did not intend for us to waste our existing resources on battles with random girls just to try and get laid. We have to be smarter than that, Brandon, that's the only way this works. If you'd at least beaten her, maybe this would be a different story, but as it is, I'm going to have to tell the boss about this..."

"M-Miguel!" pleads Brandon, "y-you don't have to do that! We can just pretend this didn't happen, y'know?"

"I'm afraid not," says Miguel, pushing his glasses up his face. "It's time to go now; my team has got what we need." He turns to face you. "I apologise for my subordinate, miss. I hope to see you again once the boss's plan has come to fruition and Team Rocket has achieved total domination." He turns away from you and snaps his fingers. "Come, Brandon."

His bluster all but vanished, Brandon recalls his fallen Rattata before following in Miguel's wake as he makes his exit, leaving you standing in the cave with your pokemon, still relieved that you'd got the victory, but now aware that Team Rocket was serious trouble...
