Chapter 15 by TheTruePenguin TheTruePenguin

Bubble bubble, toil and trouble

Something Wicca this way comes

"Damn it, where's the candles at?" Prue asked from the darkness, your ears hearing the sound of shuffling around nearby.

With a momentary thought, a flash of lightning split the darkness, illuminating the entire room, and allowing you to spot the candle resting on the table in the hall.

It took a few measured steps before you picked it up, using your powers to light the wick, providing the sisters with light to see.

Handing the candle off to Prue as she passed you, heading for the kitchen, you fell in next to Phoebe.

"So, as Prue was saying, when I came down to visit, I ate at Piper's restaurant that she manages. I guess she'd been helping out in the kitchen or something cause when I saw her, she looked all flushed. I told her she looked hot, you know like a pun because she looked like she'd been doused with steam. I guess she wasn't expecting some random guy to compliment her because she blushed and told me she had a boyfriend, and I told her that that was okay because I had a girlfriend." You told Phoebe who looked at you with a wary look.

"Should I be worried that sweet Piper is going to lure you away with her seductive wiles?" Phoebe questioned, pressing closer to you.

"It's a definite possibility, who knows I may call you Piper in the heat of the moment sometime..." You trailed off as Phoebe's look shifted, making you think you may have stepped over the line.

"Hmm, or maybe I'll just have to blow your mind so hard that you can't even remember her name?" Phoebe suggested, pressing against your body, one of her hands reaching down to lightly cup you while she pressed her lips against you, silencing your groan as she squeezed.

"Hey lovebirds, if you two are done trying to suck each other's face off, we could use some help lighting the candles." Prue snarked from behind you as you and Phoebe broke apart, although neither one of you looked particularly ashamed.

"Thanks, could you go upstairs and light the candles in the bathroom?" Prue requested and with a simple nod both of you headed upstairs in search of the elusive bathroom candle.

It was maybe ten minutes later in which you somehow still hadn't found the candle when both you and Phoebe heard a loud thump followed by a creaking as a door at the end of the hallway slowly opened.

"Uhmm, am I the only one who's a little creeped out?" Phoebe asked aloud although you didn't answer, already expecting this at some point.

"Hey, maybe there's some flashlights in the attic, I'm going to check it out." You suggested, only for Phoebe to quickly grab your arm.

"No way Leo, when we were growing up, Grams was always adamant about us not going into the attic, what if it's haunted or something?" Phoebe said as you grinned at her.

"What are you talking about babe, everyone knows ghosts are just spirits with unfinished business, so unless your Grams was secretly an axe-murderer and she was hiding bodies in your attic, I doubt anything will go wrong.

As you crept up the stairs to the attic you heard the floorboards creak behind you. "Well, at least if a crazy killer ghost is up here, we'll die together, and then Piper and Prue can tell their kids all about their crazy Aunt Phoebe and her boyfriend who got murdered by a ghost." You snarked.

"Hey Leo, how about you shut up, and just let the final thing I see before I die be your cute butt, okay?" You heard behind you.

But you weren't murdered by a ghost, technically you could be considered a ghost so it would've been kinda ironic.

However, you did get the ball rolling on this grand adventure since the minute Phoebe was assured it was safe, her innate curiosity took her straight to the thick book on the stand, perfectly placed to catch the moonlight streaming in through the attic window, which struck you as strange since you could still hear the storm raging outside, so you just chalked it up to magic.

"Hey Leo, you remember how you were teasing me about Grams being an axe-murderer?" Phoebe asked aloud.

"Yeah." You replied, already anticipating her response.

"I think she was a witch, and I think according to this book that me and Piper and Prue are too." Phoebe said, and you couldn't help the grin that grew on your face.

Who saw this coming?
