Back to the Future

It was a dark and stormy night, the thunder rumbling in the sky as you and Phoebe pulled up in front of a older-style looking house that you nearly instantly recognized as Prue, piper, and soon-to-be Phoebe home.

"Why don't you head on inside babe, and I'll get the bags." You suggested to a Phoebe, who seemed almost in a trance as she stared at the giant house. Giving a halfhearted nod, she flung the door open racing up the walkway as she began to ring the doorbell in hopes of gaining entry. A few seconds later the door was opened as you caught sight of a vaguely female shape before Phoebe disappeared into the house, leaving you alone to get the luggage.

As you clambered out of your side of the vehicle, handing the driver a crisp fifty for his trouble, your mind wandered to the past four months since you had met Phoebe and had started hooking up more regularly. While neither one of you had actually defined what your relationship was.

Additionally, you reminded yourself as with a simple twitch of your fingers, the rain seemed to fade away around you. It was still falling quite heavily, you could see that, but in a small foot circle around you, the air was clear, keeping you or Phoebe's single bag from being soaked.

One would probably expect someone that was moving, especially a woman, to have more than one bag, but the honest truth was all of Phoebe's worldly possessions were contained within this bag.

Closing the trunk, and giving it a quick double tap to signal the taxi driver you were done, he sped away, splattered water all over both you and the bag... so much for keeping it and yourself nice and dry.

Shaking your head in annoyance,you started the short trek to the front porch.

You'd gotten a lot better and using some of your more, reality-bending powers, as well as your acquired Whitelighter powers. On top of that, you'd already begun to form some semblance of a plan for the coming future.

With a quick rap, the door swung open to reveal Phoebe with a **** smile on her face as she gave you a peck on the cheek and beckoned you n, setting her slightly waterlogged bag by the door.

"Come in here and meet Prue and Piper, I know you probably feel like you've already met them with how much I talk about them, but at least this way you can put a face and voice to the name." Phoebe suggested, pulling you along behind her as you gave a low chuckle.

"Okay, this Leo he's my-" Phoebe started as we entered the living room? only to be cut short by a narrowed look from who could only be Prue.

"You?" She hissed out as you looked back at her, Phoebe's introduction momentarily forgotten.

"Me." You replied before turning to the third member of the trio, who while also shocked, seemed partially hurt. "Hello Piper, It is so lovely to see you again, I still stick to what I said last time we met." You offered which only seemed to irritate Prue more while Piper became more withdrawn.

"Umm, I feel like the only one who's missed the elephant in the room, but how do you know Prue and Piper, Leo?" Phoebe inquired as you smiled at her.

"You remember when I was gone for several days a few weeks ago, well I made a trip down here. I know we had the discussion about trying to make things work at long-distance, but honestly... you're unemployed and can't afford to be making plane trips to visit me that often, and I know I won't want to go back to New York when I don't really have anything I care about there now with you gone. So I came down here, and went house hunting, found a place, bought it at a tidy price, and please don't think it's stalkerish that I dropped everything to chase you across the country." You answered as Phoebe looked at you stunned, for that matter Piper and rue seemed to be mirroring her look.

"Damn Phoebe, how did you find a guy like this in just four months?" Piper mumbled.

"You idiot, Leo." Phoebe shouted, catching you off guard. "I didn't really want to do the long-distance thing either, but I was just hoping that I could convince you to stay with me here, we could share my room, but now you have your own place, why do you have to so perfect?" Phoebe actually started lamenting.

"Not to burst your bubble babe, but I'm pretty sure things will work out better this way, now you don't have to worry about containing yourself." You suggested as a snort from Prue caught your attention.

"Oh, don't worry about her containing herself on our account, we all grew up together remember, I think we have a pretty good idea of how expressive our little sister can get." That seemed to break the building tension in the room as Piper, gave a soft giggle and Phoebe looked torn between embarrassed and indignant.

"That still doesn't answer how you know Prue and Piper, Leo?" Phoebe decided to change the subject away from her sexual proclivities.

"Oh, right, well after I bought my house, I thought I might like some stuff to decorate with, so I went to this auction house type place looking to see with they may have some suggestions, turns out, Prue works there and was very helpful if not so helpful at all, since it turns out it costs a lot more money than I thought to decorate a place. And afterwards I went to this cozy place to eat and discovered Piper worked there. What are the odds of that huh, come to town and just so happen to run into both of your sisters, almost like it was preordained or something." You answered.

"That still doesn't explain why Piper looks looks like someone dropped a cake on her clean floors?" Phoebe wondered aloud, and you couldn't help but tease her.

"Is that example from experience?" Phoebe blushed while Prue sent a smirk your direction, confirming your suspicions.

"No, the reason Piper is upset is because-" Whatever Prue had been about to say was cut short as with a crack of thunder, the house went dark.
