Chapter 10 by The-Drunken-Bandit The-Drunken-Bandit

What kind of outfit and gear should Dr.Girlfriend have?

Somthing that complents you, while also working with her strengths.

After some time and thought, you realize that it would perhaps be for the best to play to Dr. girlfriend strengths.

Immediately your mind goes over what strengths and weaknesses Dr. girlfriend has. You immediately draw back to your knowledge of the venture Brothers TV show and more importantly to the scenes and episodes in which Sheila was **** into combat situations. Immediately you begin to recollect on the fact that Sheila has never had any real dedicated weapons of her own, which is not surprising considering the fact she was a number two to a super villain. However that does not mean Sheila is unarmed, as you for adopting her doctor misses the monarch persona, she did carry a select few concealed weapons on her person.

That being said Sheila is not unfamiliar with firearms or hand-to-hand combat as you distinctly remember that later on in the series when the sovereign, the original leader of the guild of calamitous intent, tried to completely burn down the Guild of calamitous intent, during this Sheila defend herself quite aptly and was even able to repurpose and commandeer the weapons of the security guards and security robots that the sovereign had sent to kill her and the remaining members of the Guild’s leading counsel with nothing but her own two hands and the help of two somewhat incompetent Guild agents.

However that is not all, as Sheila also has a rather impressive intellect when it comes to creating advance pieces of technology for whatever current villain she is working under. Most of this knowledge comes from the fact that she’s worked under many different villains before joining up with the monarch and has used this knowledge and experience from these other villains, as well as a few college doctorates, to become perhaps one of the most fearsome and intelligent members of the entirety of the Guild of calamitous intent. Which is why it was no surprise when Dr. girlfriend became a member of the Guild’s ruling counsel and even assumed a pseudo leadership role once it fell apart thanks to sovereign attempting to burn down the house to collect the insurance, so to speak.

However with that said, Sheila is not invincible as while she is an effective fighter, it’s not her primary role. Her costumes throughout the entire show reflect that, as she is often seen as the eye candy of whatever villain she’s dating at the time and as such she has often and has most likely gotten used to wearing skimpy outfits. Something that has often come back to bite her in the ass as her selection of outfit has nearly got her killed on at least one occasion to your knowledge, that being the time the sovereign tried to burn down the Guild of calamitous intent, where Sheila had to fight her way all the way to the sovereign to kick his ass and was badly wounded for her efforts. Most of these wounds seen during that episode reflected her regretful choice of wearing such a skimpy outfit, as thanks to her unarmored outfit, Shelia had taken several cuts, burns, and even a bullet wound for her troubles.

With this being said your mind immediately revolves around back to Sheila strengths and immediately notices that Sheila has relied on agility and dexterity to carry most of her fights. As more often than not Sheila has ducked, dodged, improvised, or outwitted most of her opponents in combat. Which brings up another strength of Sheila’s, the fact that she is able to think on the spot and creatively create solutions to her problems.

With all this said you have to look at, and list out, Sheila’s strengths and weaknesses.

Strengths:

• skilled in hand-to-hand

• can creatively improvise on the spot

• has experience with firearms and super science weapons

• has years of experience with every type of super science imaginable.

• Has a high pain tolerance.

Weaknesses

• relies on agility and dexterity in a fight

• wears skimpy outfits that offer her great flexibility and room for agility.

• Has not always been a primary combat.

• Body armor will most likely slow her down.

Looking over this list several times, you ponder the possibilities and options that will most likely optimize Sheila’s abilities, while at the same time minimizing her weaknesses.

After some pondering, your mind immediately comes up with a list of equipment that would benefit Sheila the greatest.

  1. Jet pack- starting off it’s probably best that you bolster Sheila’s movement and agility by adding a jet pack to allow her more vertical movement and to give her the ability to bug out if a situation gets too hot.
  2. Element Ray- working off of Sheila’s creativity and ability to adapt perhaps it would be best to give her a primary weapon that has great flexibility? An element gun can easily give Sheila the combative flexibility that few can match, a element gun is exactly as it sounds at gun or in this case a ray gun that can fire any type of element imaginable at a enemy. Fire, water, earth, air, electricity, and even ice, the element gun can do it all. Moreover, it can expand its arsenal if given a sample of a new element. Adding to its lethality and practicality.
  3. Utility belt- to add on and expand Sheila’s abilities to adapt to any situation you’re going to give her utility belt that will be filled to the brim with every type of gadget imaginable. Grappling hooks, smoke bombs, explosive gels, medical supplies, and even micro mines for that extra trickery when needed. She was going to need every tool should get her hands on if she’s going to help you and your not going to hold back giving her what sheila needs.
  4. analysis vision- this is going to be a little tricky as are going to have to incorporate some kind of visual aid for shelia in order for it to work. But analysis vision is crucial if your going to maximize Sheila’s ability to think and respond to threats that exist out there in the multi-verse. Essentially it boils down to her having the ability of having Batman’s detective vision from the Arkham Asylum series.
  5. Power suit- A jet pack isn’t going to be enough, Sheila is going to need more if she’s going to not only survive out there in the multi-verse but to also thrive. She’s going to need to not only need to pack more of a punch but also be able to take a severe amount of punishment. Thus, you’re going to have to give Sheila a power suit of her own, it will be similar to your own suit but will be watered down to allow the addition of new features, those being metamorphic in nature. Meaning it can transform at the will of the user, an example of this would be the user wanting to turn invisible and the power suit obliging by reflecting the light away from the user and hiding them from plain sight. Another example would be trying to catch a ball made of plasma, the suit would shape shift one of the hands of the suit into a mitt to catch and hold said ball of plasma until it is thrown back into one who tossed it in the first place. Essentially it’s the Kim possible power suit on steroids.

Now with all of that out of the way and listed out, the only real question that remains is how you want to design Sheila’s new outfit and gear. Immediately millions different designs go through your head, but soon all those ideas fade to the back your mind as you stop and look down at your own power suit.

Your cheesy Capt. Cosmos armor that looks like it was ripped strait out of fallout and almost immediately a design comes to your mind, a iconic design that is almost on par with the Capt. Cosmos suit that you currently wear.

And as this idea comes to your mind, you can’t help but smile as you immediately bring up a hard light tablet and get to work on your designs for Dr. girlfriend.

(Several hours later)

(the bridge)

It's been several hours since you sent Dr. girlfriend to the med-bay and during that time you have not been idle.

During these hours you have been working on trying to track down planet fusion’s current course to see whether or not it has become active. An what you’ve discovered is that planet fusion is currently in a deep hibernation and will not wake for some time, and from the current calculations of the mothership, you can determine that planet fusion will not become active until a period of 20 years passes.

That may seem like a long period of time and it is for most normal people, but for you it’s a very short timetable for the simple fact that you now have only 20 years to capture every single world that exists out there in the multi-verse and begin constructing defenses and army’s to properly fight back against planet fusion. So now you have only a time period of an entire career for most people to stop a world eating monstrosity.

“This is going to be a pain…” You think to yourself as you go over the calculations again and again to be absolute in the current timetable you have. As you do so you discover another interesting tidbit, planet fusion eats worlds yes, but it only eats the Keystone worlds or the Canon worlds.

Planet fusion does this because the Canon worlds or Keystone worlds are what they are implied to be, keystones the rest of the alternate versions of that world. Meaning if it were to consume the Keystone world it would gain the power of not only that world but every other world that mirrors it.

That said the alternate worlds that aren’t the Keystone worlds or the Canon worlds are of no importance. It may sound cruel but a reason for this is that if planet fusion could eat one of these alternate worlds, but it wouldn’t actually gain any sustenance, oh sure it would extend the amount of time planet fusion has but it wouldn’t actually empower it. Meaning that only the Keystone worlds matter. Which makes your job all that much easier, as it requires you to only go after the Keystone worlds and not the many, many alternates that exist out there.

However, as you go over this revelation you can hear the elevator door behind you open up and as you turn around you see your new number two walk out in her new outfit that you designed for her.

Dr. girlfriend’s new costume resembles another fallout creation that has become rather iconic in the most recent of years back in your home world. This creation being the Nuka-girl outfit, a promotional outfit created by the Nuka-cola Corporation to promote thier soft drink.

The original version of this signature outfit featured white slacks and a white crop top, both of which have red stripes running down them, thigh-high black leather boots and black gloves with a red trim, a red jetpack (that looked to be a fusion between oxygen tanks and rockets) and a space helmet that had black tubes connecting back into the jet pack.

However, you saw the obvious and inmate flaws of the original costume, i.e. the exposed skin, and decided to update the costume a little bit to make it more effective in the field.

You’ve got rid of the slacks and the crop top and instead opted to replace them with a tight red jumpsuit (the power suit) with white stripes going on the side. The jumpsuit had a leathery texture but was as flexible and formfitting as spandex. That said the suit didn’t put a great deal of compression on its wearer as you designed the suit to be as comfortable as possible, so you allowed the suit to breathe and feel as if it was fine, if slightly elastic, silk.

Moving on, you kept the gloves and boots mostly the same, but you made slight alterations. For one you got rid of the original high-heeled design that the boots had and instead opted for a more practical yet all the same alluring design of wedge design pumps that retain the curvy smooth sci-fi design as the rest of the ship and installed a hidden magnet boot system with in the new boots, allowing Dr. girlfriend the ability to scale walls or metallic surfaces with ease.

Now onto the belt, originally the slacks of the outfit had only a simple black clip belt and holster in its original design. However, now you have replaced that simple belt with Dr. girlfriend’s new utility belt that looks properly sci-fi with its chrome colored compartments and white belt that was topped off with a silver round belt buckle that was similar to your own. Adding onto these were of course Shelia's Shoulder pads, which were a different color from your own being red and white striped.

Finally we come to the helmet and jet pack combo. The original design was far too bulky for your purposes and thus you promptly scrapped it and replaced it with a far more manageable and less noticeable silver thin collar that surrounded Shelias neck. This collar would produce a **** field helmet when activated, much like your own, and would provide all the necessary atmosphere and air Sheila would ever need in space or underwater. You also ditch the original jet pack design and instead have replaced it with two white rockets with red fins and red tops, while also attaching said rockets into a small white oval shaped metal backpack. That would pop the rockets out on command and then hide them once again within the confines of the backpack once not in use.

Finally came the element gun, a device that you ironically designed after the iconic weapon of the nuka-girl, the thirst-zapper. With some minor modifications, those being that you added a little bottle cap shaped dial on the back where one would insert their ammunition to control what type of element gun would fire.

“So… How did it go?” You asked your new number two as you stood up from your position on one of the midcentury couches that sat in the center of the command center.

“It worked… Somewhat.” Dr. girlfriend tells you, her voice being a little bit lighter than what it originally was, but still remaining rather masculine. Seeing this, you could only look at Sheila with concern as you did promise that you would fix her voice, however, it now seems that you have come up short on your part of the bargain.

“ Shelia, I thought it would-“”-fix my voice entirely? Yeah I thought so too kiddo.” Dr. girlfriend tells you with sadness in her voice as she looks at you forlornly as she tentatively puts a hand on her throat and you can’t help feel a little bit guilty seeing her like this.

Sigh… Sheila I- I’m-“” don’t apologize honey. It’s not your fault that the tech on the ship can’t fully repair my voice. it Repaired a lot of it and even removed all the damage done to my lungs by years of smoking, but from reading the medical readouts that came out after the process, it appears that we need possibly several medical professionals in order to manually repair my vocal cords.” Sheila tells you as she cuts you off mid-apology she puts a hand on your shoulder to try and ease your concerns.

"Besides the process wasn't a total failure, after all it removed all the gunk in my lungs, cleaned out my blood, de-aged my organs, and even turned back the clock on my ageing to the point that I'm about in my mid-20's now!" Shelia tells you with small smile as she points out the brighter side to this failure and you do notice that Shelia does look slightly younger now. Though that's not saying much as she looked like she was in her early 30's before, so there's not much of difference.

“Still… You have my sincerest apologies shelia. Now, I gotta ask, what do you think about your new outfit?” You ask your new number two and Sheila looks touched at your concern as her face relaxes and soon she answers to your question with a look of approval and excitement.

“Again it’s all right honey, anyway I have to say this outfit is perhaps one of the nicest, if not the most comfortable one's I’ve ever worn. It fits in all the right places and unlike my previous outfits it doesn’t ride up my ass and chafe like an angry ant colony. Also I looked into the little manual that came with it I have to say I’m impressed with all the features that come with this suit and the gun.” Sheila tells you as she runs her hands up and down the skintight outfit that fits her perfectly and accentuates her feminine bits to the point that they look like as if they’re defying gravity.

“So you like them then?”

“Like you would not believe honey. But enough about that….”
