Nicole's new normal

It had been a couple of days since then, and Nicole hadn't left the homestead. There was no way she was taking so much as a single step outside when it turned out she couldn't put anything decent on. She sat, still nude, in the front room and waited.

She'd called in sick to work. Now her friends were helping to deal with the whole Huraine situation, looking for some way to stop her being the chosen one, or find something else she could put on, or failing all that at least find some way to dampen the effects of the holy vestment. After a couple of days in the nude, she'd settle for being able to wear even just lingerie, as revealing as it was.

The front door opened. Nicole glanced back, not too worried. After a couple of embarrassing incidents, the men knew to knock. Otherwise it was just the Earps and, well, being self-conscious in front of them didn't really feel like an option any more.

"Hey sweetie!" Waverly called.

She shut the door behind her, hurrying over to kiss her girlfriend hello. She leant down, hand running down Nicole's bare side.

"Hey," Nicole said. "Calamity Jane still doing well?"

"She misses you," Waverly said. "Still, we're almost ready here."

Nicole's cat was one of the many downsides to being stuck naked. Unless she wanted to streak across the town, she'd have to rely on Waverly heading over to feed her and keep her company.

"No chance of me being able to move back any time soon?" Nicole said.

"Nothing yet," Waverly said.

Nicole sighed, unconsciously folding her arms. Waverly sat beside her, expression sunny.

Things had been awkward for a couple of hours after the whole threesome thing, though they'd settled into a more even rhythm now, talked things over, hopefully not had too much effect from whatever cult-magic had caused this. Nicole had left the bright pink underwear draped over a radiator.

It was always a little uncomfortable to wear just lingerie, and it was apparently distracting to deal with the effect it had. While she was home, being naked was apparently just the most practical option. And even in more private moments, they just got in the way (though she had been known to put on the gloves and boots when night started. The effect was more enjoyable for everyone then).

Eventually Nicole got up, wandering through the house. She jumped when the door opened, trying to cover with her arms before seeing that it was just Wynonna, and no one else behind her. Nicole relaxed, and Wynonna shut the door so there was no new breeze reaching the naked cop.

"Hello to you too," Wynonna said dryly.

"You wander around naked for a few days and you try not being jumpy when the door opens," Nicole said.

"Sweet-talker," Wynonna said. She walked over and gave Nicole a kiss not dissimilar to Waverly's earlier, while Waverly watched from the lounge.

That was the... other part of this whole arrangement. Probably the one good thing to come from this whole embarrassing mess. There was a glint in the other Earp sister's eye as she pulled back.

That whole thing the first time she'd come by in the vestment wasn't the only time that had happened. It had seemed like it was going to be but, well, everyone had enjoyed it so here they were. It was no weirder than being unable to get dressed.

"Find anything?" Nicole said hopefully.

"Not yet," Wynonna said. "Might have a lead, but don't get your hopes up."

Nicole sighed. Part of her wanted to get out there and help finding a cure to her nudity, but leaving it to the Earps was definitely the way less embarrassing option. She walked back into the front room with Wynonna, sitting beside Waverly.

The two sisters' eyes drifted to her. Nicole hesitated. Well it was hardly a secret that they'd found an upside to her predicament.

"You guys... are looking for a solution, right?" she said slowly.

"Yep, absolutely," Waverly said, not looking away.

"Mm hmm," Wynonna said.

"Uh huh!"

"Of course!"

Nicole bit her lip, then promptly forgot what she was going to say as Wynonna sat down on the other side of her, leaving her between the two Earp sisters. Welcome homes were always fun.

Besides, what option did she have if not to trust them?
