Dru Past meets Dru Future

"Oh my God!" Drusilla said again to the 1860 version of herself. "It is you. Does that mean the rest of my family survived too?"

"How should I know?" asked past Drusilla. "I don't know your family."

"Okay," said future Drusilla. "Did your family survive?"

"Why should that matter to you?" asked past Drusilla.

"Because I sent Marcie and Rose here to help save them from Darla and Angelus," said future Drusilla.

"Oh my God!" cried past Drusilla. "You're the woman Cordelia refers to as her employer?"

"She isn't really Cordelia," said future Drusilla. "She's really --"

"I don't really care what her real name is," said past Drusilla. "All I care about is that she and Rose lied to me. I had no idea that the woman who had sent them was a she-demon who wears my face."

Future Drusilla sighed and said, "I'm not a she-demon. I'm a --"

"Don't give me that," said past Drusilla. "I've seen you in dreams, consorting with the two evil ones who threatened to kill my family tonight. Sometimes you were playing with a doll. Sometimes you were messing around with dead birds. Sometimes you were actually sucking blood. You're that thing people call a vampire -- and you have the nerve to talk to me as if you were a human."

"I only 'consorted' with Angelus and Darla because I had ****," said future Drusilla. "They killed all my family members and **** me to become a vampire. If I had not sent Rose and the one you call Cordelia to your family's assistance, they would have done the same thing to you."

"So why did you bother to save me?" asked past Drusilla. "So that you could turn me into a vampire yourself?"

"She would never do that," said future Rose, still feeling uneasy about all the sudden insight she was getting into two people that she thought she had known all so well. "She isn't just another vampire. She's your future self."

"Oh, no!" cried past Drusilla. "Please tell me you're lying. Please, Rose, in the name of everything you consider holy, please tell me you're lying."

"I'm not," said future Rose. "I'd swear to it on my mother's life."

Past Drusilla turned even paler than she was before. "Then it is true," said past Drusilla. "Everything my mother ever said is true. I am evil. I am irredeemable.There's no point in trying to save my soul through prayer and good works. Not if in the end, I end up turning into that anyway."

And with that, she pointed to future Drusilla.

Then past Drusilla threw down her cross. "No more need for that."

Then she threw down her rosary. "No more need for that."

Then she took a Bible out of her purse and then threw it down. "Definitely no more need for that."

Then past Drusilla threw down her purse and started undressing.

"Excuse me, young Princess, but why are you doing that here?" asked future Rose. "Why not do that at home?"

"Because I don't intend to go home," said past Drusilla, as she stepped out of her black dress and started taking off her old-fashioned underwear. "There is only one place I could go now. One place I could go that would permit me to avoid my fate -- and since I am doomed to be damned anyway, I might as well go there."

"What's she talking about, MarcieIMeanCordelia?" asked future Rose.

"Beats me," said Marcie.

Then Marcie asked past Drusilla, "Hey, why are you doing all this anyway? I thought we saved you."

"You can never save me, Cordelia," said past Drusilla as she took off the last of her underwear. "Nor Rose. As for why I'm doing all this, that much should be obvious. The dress I was wearing was the one dress my mother most liked for me to wear. It would be a pity if I were to be buried in it while it smelt of river water."

And with that, a totally naked past Drusilla ran off into the distance.
