Lora stops kissing and says, “You make such a big deal out of parenthood. It’s not as scary as you think it is.”

You push Lora aside and sit up on the bed. “It IS a big deal. We’re talking about a human life here. I’ll need to pay for extra food, clothes, diapers, start saving up for its education, …”
