Route 22

Your third win fills you with confidence and determination to succeed, and you walk out of the alleyway onto the main street with a new spring in your step. You figure that with the gym closed there's now not really any need to spend anymore time here in Viridian City; you'll come back later to take down the gym leader, whoever they may be.

You consult the town map that Daisy gave you before heading out of town to the west onto Route 22. This route leads to the Indigo Plateau, where the Pokemon League is based, but you have no intention of actually going there yet; you currently have no gym badges in your possession, after all. You're just here to get some training in by battling the wild pokemon here before you head north to the Viridian Forest.

Your Charmander and Pidgey both toughen themselves up by taking out the Spearow and Rattata that live here, and you even manage to make your first actual pokemon capture; a wild Mankey charges out of the tall grass at you, and you use Pidgey's gust to take it out just like you did back in your battle in the alleyway. You then throw a pokeball at the pig monkey pokemon and add it to your collection; you've heard that the gym leader of the next town, Pewter City, specialises in rock type pokemon, so you figure that Mankey's fighting moves will come in handy.

Proud that you're actually achieving things as a trainer, you are almost able to put behind you the memory of Blue fucking your pussy and effortlessly making you cum. Almost.

After returning to the Pokemon Center to heal up your team, you take one last look at Viridian City before continuing your journey...
