“No.” He answered in a bitter voice as his attention went from the strange girl to the car in the distance. His fear didn’t even register compared to the anger he felt towards Max. The expulsion wasn’t good enough.

A soft purr parted the lips of the young women, who had clung to him. She panted in excitement at the boy’s voice and the beat of heart rate. This was a new experience for the attacker turned stalker, never has she been so fascinated by a human, and their interaction was nothing short of euphoria.

Random felt the women’s soft bust leave his back as the stranger slithered around him, her footwork graceful, she wouldn’t be out of place as a ballerina, if the torn school uniform didn’t ruin the illusion. Her beautiful face blocking his view left the boy speechless. He remained a statue, haunted by those petrifying blue eyes, the familiar serpent irises held him still. Unlike Crimson this woman outwardly revealed her demonic heritage.

Random flinched as her hands climbed his shirt, the response provoking another burst of excitement from the creature as if she found enjoyment from the human’s reaction. She continued to watch his body language like he was some untamed animal in the wilderness. However, the excitement was quickly replaced by disappointment as she saw the fear within the boy’s eyes.

After the women’s hands left his collar Random shivered and closed his eyes waiting for inevitable, unlike before he had no demon by his side to defend him. He waited and waited, struggling to stand before he felt a strange cooling sensation press against his cheek. He quickly reopened his eyes and saw the pale hand of the stranger. The back of the women’s hand had a strange charm over him; its cold touch relaxed him until he noticed how the demon smelt. For the briefest of seconds his nose brushed against the women’s wrist and he was enthralled, her scent roused him like no other, reminding the boy of Crimson but different. He couldn't believe he didn't notice this from their first encounter. The addicting scent eased his mind and like an idiot, he voiced his opinion without realising. “You’re freezing…”

The demon’s eyes widen from the human’s reply as she pulled her hand back and looked to it. “Really? I’ve never realised.” She spoke plainly. Random’s opinion on her changed their mood entirely before she grasped the boy by the throat with the same hand. “Is that way you desire that monster? Because she is warm?” Her grip tightening the longer he didn’t answer.

Through gulped ****, he uttered the word. “D-dream...” This gave him a moment of respite as he fell to the dirt and looked up at the wild beauty, his eyes wondering along her body as he rubbed his throat. “That’s the same thing you said in the dream! What the hell does that mean?! What the hell do you want from me?!” The questions all he could do to stall for time. He cried out his insanity teetering on the edge, questioning his mortally. Still no Crimson to be seen. “I’m such an idiot.”

“A dream?” Share dumb luck or something else prevented the demon from killing him as she looked down upon him with red cheeks and biting her thumb. “You dreamt of me?” She pounced on top of him and all too familiar sight but with him on the receiving end, as his back was pushed into the ground. Random gasped for air as being so close to the creature felt like downing, while she placed both her hands to his face and pressed her thumbs just under his eyelids. She wanted him to search her blue, demonic eyes and nothing else, they stared intently at one another. Her lips parted to answer his last question. “I want to help you.”
