Prove your worth

"Fine" You sigh "Please ask the king what I can do to prove my self." You ask.

"Very well. I will send a messenger for you it will cost you a silver piece."The guard replies.

"Ah, now I see, Very well." Your reply and reach into your 'Saddlebags' and fetch your coin pouch. You hand over two silver pieces (about £2) "and make it quick." You reply.

You wait about half an hour people walk past into the castle some are stoped and questioned by the guards. Most people stare at you lying with your legs tucked in on the street as they walk past. A young boy comes through the gate and other to you. "Excuse me, Mr Centaur, I have a contract from the king." He handed you scroll with a royal seal on it.

You open the scroll but you can't read it. It is in the common human language but which you learnt to speak but not to read. You go up to the guard. "Excuses me, Could you read this for me?" And you hand him the scroll and a silver.

"Very well." The guard replies
