She makes it without incident

As Laurel turned yet another corner she finally saw that she was on the right street and on the other side of the street she saw the mayoral campaign office that Oliver used to conceal his underground bunker. Quickly breathing a sigh of relief, Laurel ran across the road, bare feet slapping into the hard ground before reaching the door only to realise with horror that it was locked. Despite her extensive training as a street fighter, Laurel couldn't stop herself from letting out a short cry as the true humiliation of her situation dawned on her; she couldn't go home, she was totally naked and now she was locked out of the only place that could have helped her.

Hanging her head, Laurel saw a rock sitting just beside her feet and thought about breaking a window and entering that way. Despite the circumstances, she hesitated over the idea of breaking and entering into a political building. She had broken the law as Black Canary but if she was caught as Laurel Lance, her career in Law would be over. On the other hand, being caught naked in the street at 2 AM would probably do the same thing.

Laurel's decision was made, however, when she heard distant voices coming from down the street. Fear and desperation overriding her common sense, she quickly picked up the rock and smashed it against the window, easily shattering it and allowing her to reach in and unlock the door. Careful as to not cut her bare skin, Laurel pulled her arm back out and opened the door before running in and shutting it, too rattled to lock it as she ran into the back where the secret elevator was hidden. Knowing the password and all the safety precautions that Felicity had put in place, Laurel quickly found herself inside the elevator and going down into what she hoped was safety.

Feeling safe and secure, Laurel didn't bother to cover her body as she descended into the bunker instead burying her hands into her face while thinking about tonight's events. Who were those men? Why did they attack her? How did Sara know about it? Was she OK? These questions bothered Laurel so much, she didn't even think about whether or not there was anybody down there already.
