Future Clara and Missy go on a quest

"However, I must warn you about one problem in particular," said Missy.

"What's that?" asked future Clara.

At this point, Missy slapped future Clara.

"What was that for?" asked future Clara.

"I needed a reason?" asked Missy. "Oh, well. Anyway, the time loop we were in appears to have ended. I'm guessing our tormentor got tired of tormenting us. Perhaps she has what you humans call ADD."

"What's that?" asked future Clara.

Missy slapped future Clara again.

"What the hell!" cried future Clara.

"Sorry," said Missy. "I thought you were stuck in the loop again."

"No, you didn't," said future Clara. "You just slapped me because you felt like it."

"Oh, Clara," said Missy. "You know me so well. Anyway, we really need to track down this TARDIS of yours before anything else happens. Do you remember where you left it?"

"Certainly, I do," said future Clara. "It was in a green, wooded area... No, wait, it was in a city. But which city? The sky above was blue. Or was it green? And nearby was -- what? -- a church? A store? A school? Oh, God, suddenly I can't remember."

"I suspect that this mysterious lady in red of whom you have spoken is responsible for that," said Missy. "But just in case..."

She slapped future Clara again.

"Now come along with me to my TARDIS," said Missy. "We have some searching to do."

Ten minutes later, Missy's TARDIS appeared outside what looked like an old-time American movie theater. There was a crowd of people out front but that didn't prevent Missy from getting out in full view of the crowd. Nor did it prevent Missy from dragging a naked future Clara out of the TARDIS in full view of the crowd.

"Missy!" cried future Clara. "This is not the time for silly ENF tricks!"

"We're not here for that," said Missy. "More's the pity. We're here for them."

At this point, Missy pointed to a short dark-haired man who looked like a gangster and a woman with dark brown hair who wore a cloche hat and a bright red dress.

"Who's that?" asked future Clara.

"I was hoping you could tell me," said Missy.

"I've never seen them before in my life," said future Clara.

"Pity," said Missy. "I was hoping that woman was your lady in red but apparently it's not."

"Of course it's not," said future Clara. "She may be a lady in red but she is definitely not the lady in red."

At this point, the lady in red looked at future Clara and cried, "Wait a minute! Who are you supposed to be? Some runaway burly queen?"

"Actually she's a mental patient in my care," said Missy. "Out for a little fresh air."

"And you let her walk around like that?" asked the lady in red.

"Well, it helps with her therapy," said Missy. "Now if you'll excuse us, Miss Franklin, we need to get out of here before the G-men show up."

"Wait a second!" cried the lady in red. "What G-men? And how did you know my name?"

But Missy was already pushing future Clara inside the TARDIS when the lady in red asked these questions.

And the TARDIS vanished into thin air about ten seconds before the G-men actually did show up...
