Checking his phone for the n-th time this evening, Alex frowned. She was still pissed and ignored his texts. Damn, stubborn woman. He loved her..well mostly...not so much right now...but this kind of behavior was really grinding on his nerves.

It was not his fault he was stuck here, waiting for a call or a mail from their asian branch to finally answer the set of questions they needed to finish that goddamn NDA and send it up the Ziggurat to be signed, as it should have been last week already. It was not his fault he was the most junior guy in legal, the fucking trainee to be exact and thusly the one who gets stuck with bullshit like that, while the high and mighty lawyers, their assistants and even the bloody BITCH-QUEEN-OF-THE-FRONT-Desk(TM) went home an hour ago.

Not that Penelope (NEVER Penny!), would care. After all she worked for her rich ass Daddy and could basically do what ever she pleased. And tonight it would have pleased her to parade her fiancee in front of her Health Club friends...what a scary lot those bitches were!

But he was stuck here, she threw a fit and now he could probably expect a week of bitchiness before she (hopefully) reverted to her mostly likable self of before... the Penelope of College that still came out to play, just seemingly less and less often.

He sighed and decided to leave it at that, nothing he could do anyway. He needed to distract himself to get the time go by quicker. Even if the Singapore guys finally acted first thing in their morning, he would not see any response for quite a while longer.
