Athena!” Hades with Artemis walked and crouching Artemis began to examine the blood, “Athena’s blood. Not enough to suggest death but wounded in a place which bleeds a lot. I lose my only friend again? I let her suffer for doing something foolish in an attempt to apologise to me and to say thank you for my hospitality? I am to lose all of this again? Why can’t I ever be happy?” Hades looked down before saying, “I will find you a woman, I promise you. She will be: strong willed, smarter then Athena, more beautiful then Aphrodite and more caring then Persephone and Demeter, my promise to you just hand Philippa over and Athena! I will find you followers who treat you as a god and a new hound just hand her over” James looked at Philippa before seeing her nod she walked towards Hades, “I know James, thanks for everything. Just remember this you have hidden beauty and those who can’t see it are truly blind!” Hades reached out for her as she spoke, “She is in the next room sleeping!” he signalled for Circe to grab her but looking over saw the sword go through her chest and looking over there Krisi stood glaring at him, “Krisi you fool... you know the rules, it’s okay we will blame Philippa!” “Let go of her now!” “James?!?” I took his hand looking down he saw the flesh start to decay as Philippa was pulled away, “Thing is...I have a beautiful woman who is strong, smart and kind, who wants to be here and helps me when I need it, now she isn’t perfect like your consorts but she is mine! “Is she?” Hades nodded before looking over to Zeus spoke, “Both are there but Athena’s exact condition is unknown apart for she is alive and James is helping her get better. Philippa did it but James won’t allow her to go with us!” “Where’s Circe?” Yennefer asked, “James killed her when she tried to take Athena and Philippa... he offers us this: we leave them alone and Philippa won’t cause anymore trouble, Athena is now useless to us so she stays where she should be otherwise more will die!” Zeus looked down before saying, “How useless?” “Apparently she is death which can be healed, she is blind and can’t speak... Philippa has her eyes which I think was part of a spell to one see but also understand our writing!” “Planning something is she?” Yennefer queried, “Fix his eyesight! Weeks passed and they all tried to persuade us to give them up. You aren’t needed now go back to your master and never return to the realm of the living!” “Is it?” Triss queried and nodding Philippa lifted and eyelid and nodded, “Done!” Triss nodded before studying his face spoke, “How about fixing his face? pretty simple job...” Philippa studied it before nodding spoke, “I always wondered what he looked like before apparently the goddesses were head over heels for him!
