Gathering the Survivors

The surviving trade goods

Poisonhook reached the wagons at a run, glancing around to see where the wagon carrying the goblin's non-living loot was. His claws tore furrows in the dirt as he stopped next to it and jumped up into the back.

He had to duck under a couple of wax-sealed jars, which dangled from a rope right in front of the entrance. There was something off about the rope, but he couldn't put his claw on it, so he just stepped inside and looked around.

The wagon was full of... garbage, random trinkets and tattered bits the goblins apparently thought worthy of keeping. Out of the mess stuck a few things. There were some useful items, bundles of rope, rolls of canvas, that kind of thing - valuable to the wagoneers, but not to foot travellers, and bulky and difficult to carry.

There were lots of small wooden kegs, stacked one atop another in one corner. He shook a few - some were full of grain, some were full of liquid, most were empty. Since none of them contained gold, he put them back down.

A weapons rack held his interest for a moment, before he realised exactly what was on it. Bone maces, rusty blades... he picked up the only halfway decent weapon, an axe that was at least made from unrusted steel, and tested the edge... to find it was as blunt as his fist.

Oh well. Whetstones were a thing. He kept looking around.

There were a haversack, which he picked up and looked through, the jars on the odd rope that he'd seen while entering - he got one down and cracked it open, seeing what was inside - and finally, two chests, which he tried to pull open and look through...

What does he find?
