Try To Go Back Home

Terrified by what you just experienced, you turn and run straight for your home... only to fall into some sort of hole seconds later.

Dazed from the fall, you shake your head to regain your senses and look around. This is some sort of series of tunnels, that's obvious, but the tunnels themselves are odd. The walls look as though they've been dug out but are far too smooth for that, and unlike dirt, they aren't brown but rather a sort of navy blue. Even stranger is the light: there are no lanterns or torches, and yet the tunnels are still lit just well enough to see, almost as though the walls themselves are giving off a dim fluorescent glow. It's all incredible, and it's definitely not something man-made. But then again, what else could produce tunnels like this?

Just then, you hear footsteps rapidly approaching. Someone (or something) is coming! You look for a place to hide, but there isn't even a little crack in those smooth walls to squeeze through! Not that it matters - the source of the noise is already nearby! You can see it running straight towards you, and it's the biggest ant you've ever seen! No, that's not quite right. It's like an ant, its shiny black face and body strongly ant-like, but it walks on only four of its six legs, the other two raised like arms and tipped with claw-like two-fingered hands. It's like some odd cross between a man and an ant, but how...?

And then you remember the latex wolf from earlier. This must be another latex creature. But then, if it is, you're doomed to join it now that it's come too near for you to escape... it's upon you... it walked right past without even noticing.

What the heck is going on tonight?!?
