You stay in front of the village's entrance for a little while. It had a couple of totems to each side, both sculpted with scenes of battle and pillage. There was something omnimous about entering that place, but you couldnt quite place it. That is, until you stepped inside.

Your goblin companions escort you across town. They dont remember to tie your hands, that you are supposed to be a prisoner, so you are free to wander and look around. You expected to see signs of **** and aggression at every corner, but it wasn't like that at all. You see orcs, goblins, gnolls and others working, practicing various crafts from pottery to tannery, you see others carrying large baskets of furs in the direction of the river, you see small grounds chatting amiably. There is always a certain crudeness about their manners, but you kinda expected to see far worse.

"Do you call these shoes?" a voice asks, and you look to see a pretty elf lass sitting in front of a house. She had leather soles and half made shoes in front of her, a cobbler? she was dressed in fine clothes, but had a thin metal chain around her neck. "That is a disgrace. Take a sit there and I will work on something for you next." You obey it almost as a reflex.

"I dont have any money" You say, but she shrugs "I never worked for money in my life. I fix boots and shoes for the village. You are in the village. So..." You **** a smile. "I am Yuliana." She nods "I am Krystal" She looks down and resume working on the boot.

She does have a certain regal bearing, and elf nobles could live for long. You didnt want to test that true name yet, you didnt want to lose again the benefits of your cover, but you are fairly certain that is the princess your new quest meant. How lucky.

"Feet" you take it out of your boot, and she turns her nose "Oh god, dont you ever wash your feet? This smells like cheese." what? it isnt nearly that bad. But before you can complain she stands and enters the house. A moment later she brings a bucket of water, a cloth, soap, and a number of other utensils.

The water is cool, but the weather is warm and it feels kinda refreshing. Her fingers may have once been delicate, but now they are calloused and firm. She soaps your feet, and then begin to massage your sole. "You are fighting wrong. Too much on your toes, use this part to spin, not here." How did she... but she did accuratedly describe how you were doing it, so her advice may be good. "... and you are too thin. Blade dancing is very tiresome, you will need to work on your stamina." She goes as high as your calfs, but that is enough to send shivers up your spine.

Just as it was starting to feel really good she stops. She takes a pre-cut model and begins making the adjustments to make it yours. Hammer the heels, cut the leather, sew to make it very pretty. You watch fascinated as the raw materials become a gorgeous pair of high heel shoes. "These will be uncomfortable at first. You will need to learn your balance, but it will help you in the long run."

You put on your new shoes, and true to her word you feel like you are going to fall sooner or later. You give a few steps. You feel woobly, and is keenly aware of how you are swaying your ass to maintain a little bit of balance. "Yes, that is how it is supposed to be. Have a good day Yuliana." you thank her in turn, and really wish you had something to give her in turn.

As you look around you notice you lost your goblin 'friends'.
