Chapter 13 by TheTruePenguin TheTruePenguin

The End?

Load Game?

As you pulled the door shut behind you, a small smile came to your face, the image of Kurumu still asleep as you'd left. You hoped she woke up in time to make it to class, but it hardly mattered in the grand scheme of things. From what you could remember about the second day, it introduced Kurumu to Tsukune and Moka, but Moka already knew her, you hadn't seen Tsukune at all, and Kurumu was unlikely to brainwash all the males in the school when she already had her Mate, you.

You were brought out of your thoughts by the sound of another door shutting nearby; apparently you weren't the only one leaving early. Looking around you spotted the likely culprit and younger girl coming towards you... in a wheelchair?

"What's the matter asshole, you never seen a cwipple before?" Her voice was gravelly and her eyes seemed to portray a large amount of anger, not that you could blame her.

"Sorry, I wasn't trying to gawk. It's just..." You trailed off, trying to find the right words," I've never seen a Youkai in a wheelchair, even Youkai like Sirens and Lamias can walk in their human disguises." You said as she looked off into the distance allowing you to take her appearance in.

She had dirty blonde hair that trailed all the way down her back, poling around the seat of her chair as well as rather toned arms, probably from using her wheelchair to get around. Her eyes were sunken in with dark rings around them, turning them into abyssal pools that probably unnerved some people. You also noticed her tongue barely poking out from her mouth at all times, so it must've been a nervous tick or something.

"Look, dude, kay. Maybe I shouldn't have snapped at you wight off the bat, but I'm tired of people looking at me like I'm an invalid just because I'm in a wheelchair. Technically I don't need the wheelchair cause both my legs work just fine, it's just that my kind don't have legs to walk around on, so I don't really feel like settin' myself up for disappointment by pretendin' I can walk." She said finally, looking back at you with a light dusting of rose on her cheeks. You thought it was kinda cute when a course girl like her would blush.

"Plus, I'm havin' a bad mornin', you might've heard me yellin', God knows I certainly heard you and ya girlfriend last night and this mornin', even through my headphones." The girl said as you had the sense to blush.

"I suppose I can't blame you, from what I could hear it sounded like your team sucked more than Kurumu did earlier. You like playing Overwatch much?" You decide to change the subject since from your experience, girls didn't like it when you started talking about sexual conquests.

Apparently that was the magically question as the girls entire face lit up, before she launched into a spiel not only about Overwatch, but Splatoon, Call of Duty, and several other lesser known video games, speaking rapidly enough that with her slight speech impediment that you were lost, only catching the major points enough to chip in when necessary.

"Oh sorry, I suppose I should introduce myself, I'm Rin." Rin said as you noticed that at some point both of you had started walking, or in her case rolling, towards the school.

"Hey Rin, not that I'm not enjoying talking which is better League or DOTA," Rin interrupted you just to say League, "But I kinda wanted to change my clothes this morning before going to class, so I don't suppose you know the way to the boys dormitories do you?" You queried as Rin paused, looking at you strangely.

"Yeah, I figured that out from the stain on your crotch. I was wonderin' if you were goin' to head that way? But when ya didn't I just figured you were one of those people that don't care about propriety or whatever. Just head back the way we came, but take a right at the sign. I'm goin' to keep goin' on though. See ya, Devient-kun." Rin smiled at you as she kept going, you sighing as you realized you'd gone out of your way because you got wrapped up talking to a girl.

"I'm supposed to be the Harem Master dammit, instead the first girl I meet has got me in a semi-monogamous relationship, not that I mind cause between having six girls all vying for my affections but never making any ground with any of them, and only having one girl that's all too willing to drag me into the nearest room for a quick sex session, I would rather have that, no questions. But then I get so wrapped up talking to a girl, just talking, that I completely forget about changing my clothes!" You rant, glad that nobody was around to hear you as you walked through the empty forest trying to find the sign Rin talked about.

"Speaking of Harem Masters, I wonder why I haven't seen Tsukune yet, shouldn't he have been on the bus yesterday?" You asked aloud, semi-rhetorically.

"It's because you got rid of him." A voice said loudly although judging from the lack of reaction from the local wildlife, or maybe there was just no wildlife, it wasn't aloud, more like it was inside your head. A thought that was confirmed as you recognized the voice.

"God?" You asked, whispering this time, although it really shouldn't make a difference.

"Yes, I decided to drop in to help you with your conundrum. You see, the reason you didn't see young Tsukune on the bus is because he wasn't there because you disposed of him." God said.

"You mean I killed him?!" You said incredulously, you didn't mean to kill him, maybe someone like Saizo, but not Tsukune.

"Haha, no no, you didn't kill him, more like he just never got the letter inviting him to the school. You see when you arrived here, you wanted to have all the girls to yourself, so you instinctively removed the obstacle in your way with your powers, let this be a lesson on being more careful with the use of your powers. You can accidentally create a ripple with one **** choice, however in cases of beings like you and I, a ripple is more like a tidal wave, and now that I can sense your powers have greatly diminished, stopping that tidal wave can much more difficult. Remember, I won't always be there to pull you out of the fire from now on." God said, almost patronizingly.

With that, you felt? the voice leave, silently wondering exactly what God had meant with that last part.

"Won't always be there to pull me out of the fire from now on, what does that even mean?" You asked quietly under your breath only to put the thought away as you finally found the sign, taking the right as advised and finding your way to your dorm room.

Lost in your thoughts as you tried to puzzle out what God had meant, changing your clothes seemed to pass in a blur as you soon found yourself heading back towards the Academy for your second day but no closer to figuring out what God had meant.

What does your day bring?
