Kathryn-in-Tara just smirked. "Hey, I got a new body too but you don't hear me complaining."

"I noticed that you weren't too eager to keep this body when you were in it," said Buffy.

"Oh, yeah!" cried Kathryn-in-Tara.

"Yeah!" cried Buffy-in-Joyce.

"Buffy," said Joyce-in-Faith, "I am standing right here. Don't you think it would be a good idea to knock it off with the Mom cracks?"

"Sorry, Mom," said Buffy-in-Joyce. "So... Do you want to trade?"

"Trade what?" asked Joyce-in-Faith.

"Trade bodies, of course," said Buffy-in-Joyce.

"If I said no to her," said Joyce-in-Faith, pointing to Kathryn-in-Tara, "what makes you think I'll say yes to you?"

"Mom!" cried Buffy-in-Joyce.

"Buffy!" cried Joyce-in-Faith.

"Er, thanks, Tara," said Buffy-in-Joyce. "Just let me get the er -- whatever and we can swap."

"Uh-uh, Buffy," said Kathryn-in-Tara. "You're not taking this talisman if I have anything to say about it."

"Oh, really," said Buffy-in-Joyce.

Then she pointed off into the distance.

"Oh, look who just came into the Bronze," said Buffy-in-Joyce. "It's actress Selma Blair."

"Where?" asked Kathryn-in-Tara as she turned her head in the direction Buffy-in-Joyce was pointing.

At that moment, Buffy-in-Joyce hit Kathryn-in-Tara on the side of the head and knocked her out. Then she picked up the Draconian Katra that Kathryn-in-Tara had been holding.

"That wasn't very nice," said Tara-in-Buffy. "I don't go around hitting your body."

"Just be quiet, Tara," said Buffy-in-Joyce, "and let's do this thing."

"Just for that, I've changed my mind about swapping bodies, Buffy," said Tara-in-Buffy.

"Seriously?" asked Buffy-in-Joyce.

"Oh, Buffy," said Joyce-in-Faith. "Why not stop fooling around and give Tara her old body back first?"

"Because Kathryn's in it right now," said Buffy-in-Joyce.

"Buffy, I raised you better than that," said Joyce-in-Faith.

"Well, she's **** right now," said Buffy-in-Joyce. "And I'm not sure how the talisman works when that happens."

"Very well," said Joyce-in-Faith. "Then I'll switch with Tara. Give the talisman to me."

"Oh, no, you don't," said Faith-in-Kathryn, rushing up to the others in a hurry. "If anyone's changing places with Joyce, it's me."

"I thought you didn't want that body," said Buffy-in-Joyce.

"Well, I changed my mind," said Faith-in-Kathryn.

"Faith!" cried Buffy-in-Joyce.

"Don't 'Faith!' me, Buffy," said Faith-in-Kathryn. "I'm taking that talisman."

"No, I'm taking that talisman," said Buffy-in-Joyce.

"No, I'm taking that talisman," said Joyce-in-Faith.

"No, I'm t-t-t-taking t-t-t-hat t-t-t-talisman," said Tara-in-Buffy.

"Enough already," said Willow. "I'm taking the talisman."

"No, I am," said Riley in a slightly strained voice as he walked up to the group of quarreling women.

Each one of them reached for the talisman at the same time. And one of them squeezed it.

And of course, once that happened, the body swap process started up again...
