What..........................Is............................That????????
Giants Actually Exist
Aegon Drew His Sword and Waited With The Sworn Brothers Of The Night's Watch, and The Armies He'd Brought To Castle Black, Sounds Of Fighting Could Be Heard From Atop The Wall, and Could Be Heard Below. The Gate Before The Young King Was Being Beaten Open, But By What Aegon Couldn't Begin To Fathom. "Ready Your Bows and Prepare To Mow These Savages Down Like Stalks Of Wheat!" Aegon Commands. Finally, After The Beating Given By Whatever Monstrosity Was Hitting It, The Door Caved In and Wildlings Poured In. Aegon Was Among The First To Charge, and Among The Few Not To Die. He Swung Blackfyre and Gave New Meaning To Tyrion's Nickname Of The "Halfman", Except Tyrion Wasn't Involved This Time. Aegon and Three Kingsguard Knights Cut Down Swaths Of Wildlings Carving A Path Straight Into A Giant's Path. "Target His Legs! We Cripple Them, He Can't Fight As Easily!" Aegon Bellows. "Yes, My King!" Replied Ser Arthur, As Aegon Took The Right, and Ser Arthur The Left, As They Took Up Their Valyrian, and Swung Them Into, Or Rather Through The Legs Of The Giant. The Skin, Sinew, and Bone Bent To The Will That Was Valyrian Steel, and Aegon Ran Up The Amputated Giants Back and Brought His Sword Crashing Down On It's Neck. The Giant Lost It's Head and It's Legs.
The Remaining Wildlings Were Discouraged By Seeing Such A Behemoth Toppled By Two Men In Three Moves, But Kept Fighting. Aegon, Ser Arthur, and Ser Lewyn Each Began A Flurry Of An **** On The Remainder, Until Someone Shouted That The Wildlings Were On The Wall Itself. "Ser Arthur! You Lead These Men, Ser Lewyn, You Will Beat Back The Intruders Trying To Cut Our Arses Off, I'll Handle The Climbers!" Aegon Commands, and Both Knights Nod. Fighting His Way Up To The Wall, Aegon Fended Off Various Attacks From Thenn Cannibals and Ice River Clan Warriors. After Cutting A Path Up, Aegon Found Sworn Brothers Of The Watch, His Own Knights, and Precious Few Wildlings Butchered. Taking Up His Sword, Aegon Prepared To Potentially Met His End. Running, He Put His Momentum Into A Charge, and Caught One Wildling By Angling Into At Such An Angle That He Was Hurled Off The Side Of The Wall. In Those Precious Few Seconds Of Unregistered Thought, Aegon Caught The Next Wildling Off Guard With A Slice From Shoulder To Hip, Before Spinning Around and Thrusting Blackfyre Into The Heart Of The Third. "Westeros Sends It's Regards." Aegon Tells The Surprised Warrior Before Pushing Him Off The Sword and Over The Side Of The Wall With His Mailed Boot.
Aegon Saw The Disbelief In The Remaining Wildlings Eyes. "I'm Waiting!" Shouts Aegon, and After About Half A Second, The Wildlings Charge At Him, All Fifty or So Of Them. Aegon Swung Blackfyre Not Like A Madman, But With The Precision Granted To Him From Using A Spear. As Two Wildlings Took Up Position For Everyone Of Their Brothers and Sisters Slain, Aegon Chose To Take His Secondary Weapon In His Offhand. Withdrawing His Shortened Spear, He Expertly Killed and Crippled As Required. He Suffered Cuts, Bruises, and The Occasional Penetration From Weapons, But Nothing Would Stop Him From Winning This Fight. Aegon's Conviction Saw Him Through The Formidable and Ferocious Wildlings, He Cut Them Down, He Beat Them Black and Blue, and Made Them Wish They Were Someone Else. When Only One Remained, He Sheaved His Sword and Spear, Gripped The Bastard By The Shirt and Hurled Him Back From Whence He Came, Down!!!!
Taking A Moment To Catch His Breath, Aegon Doesn't Notice The Archer Aiming At Him, Until Three Arrows Are Lodged In His Back. Turning Aegon Draws Blackfyre Anew and Charges The Archer. The Wildling Continues To Shoot and Pierce Him With Arrows, But Aegon Refuses To Stop Charging and Runs Him Through With Blackfyre. Sadly, Aegon's Momentum Prevents Him From Stopping Himself From Launching Over The Side With The Dead Archer and Being Thrown Into The Melee Going On Between The Warriors Of The South and The Wildlings, Beyond The Wall.
Aegon Had Accidentally Sent Himself Over The Wrong End Of The Wall. Luckily His Sword Was Caught By Chunks Of Ice Some Hundred Or So Feet From Becoming A Splatter Mark. Unfortunately, He Dislocated His Shoulder As A Result. Switching Hands, Aegon Wrenches His Blade Free and Gambles By Directing Himself Into A Wildling and Gets His Shoulder Back Into Place, Though It Hurts Like Seven Hell's. Picking Himself Up, Aegon See's A Signal Horn Dangling From The Hip Of A Dead Soldier. Scrambling, Aegon Took It, Took A Deep Breath and Blew The Horn. With Any Luck The Cavalry Would've Heard The Horn, and Come Hard. Sadly, They Wouldn't Be The Only Ones, As Evidenced By The Wildlings Running Towards Him. "Seven Hell's." Says Aegon, and Know's He's Not Likely To Be As Lucky As He Was To Survive The Fall Like He Did. "Evalan, Wait For Me My Love." Whispers Aegon As He Runs Towards The Coming Savages.
As Aegon Runs Towards Them, His Pace Slows, Slows Because The Wildlings re Either Cut Down By A Hail Of Arrows, Or Run Down By A Cavalry Charge. "My King, Are You Injured?" Asks The Cavalry Commander. "Nothing Serious, But On A More Serious Note, Take Any Who Surrender Alive, Capture Any Injured, and Kill Any Who Refused, Just Do It Humanely." Says Aegon. "Yes, My King." Says The Commander Before Riding Off. A Soldier Brings A Horse To Aegon, and The King Mounts It, and Rides With The Rest Into The Wildling Camps. The Battle Was Quicker Than Aegon Expected, and Riding Through With His Cavalry After Surviving A Fall That Should Have Certainly Killed Him. Aegon Didn't Know How Or Why He Didn't Perish From Perpetually Committing Suicide, Perhaps It Was The Seven? The Old Gods? Or Maybe The Even More Foreign R'hllor? But Those Questions Could Be Asked Later, Not Now.
Aegon, Ser Arthur, Prince Jaehaerys, and Acting Lord Commander Mors Westford Stood In Front Of The King-Beyond-The-Wall Mance Rayder. "What's This Jaehaerys? Bringing Your More Southern Brother North?" Asks Mance. "You Stand In The Presence Of King Aegon VI Targaryen, Sixth Of His Name, King Of The Andals, The Rhoynar, and First Men, The........" Jaehaerys Begins But Catches Aegon's Waved Hand, Signaling For Him To Stop Talking. "I'd Tell You To Kneel, But I Doubt That's Likely. So, Let's Take You To Castle Black, Cut Your Head Off and Give It To The Lord Commander and Be Done With This Sad Rebellion." Says Aegon Almost Too Cheerfully and Signals For The Kingsguard To Take Him To Castle Black. "Brother, If You Had Seen What I'd Seen You Would Not Be So Quick To Cut Off Mance's Head." Say's Jaehaerys. "You Want Me To Ignore His Oathbreaking? You?" Says An Incredulous Aegon. "No, He Deserves To Die, But Why Not Hear Him Out? And You Should Burn The Dead." Says Jaehaerys. "What Valyrian Funerals For Them All? Fine, Fine, Ser Arthur See It Done, We'll Speak With This Oathbreaker Before We Cut His Head Off." Says Aegon.
