Chapter 17 by unisol_gr44 unisol_gr44

How combant will go?

Wild magic saved the day.

Hearing crashing wood, cruses and grunts behind the door, Dahlia giggled, ‘Sounds like they are having the time of their lives.’

Ariane glared at the fairy as she tried to open the locked door, ‘Stop playing around they are in trouble in there, get the door open!’

‘Ugh, fine, spoil my fun, will you...’ Dahlia huffed and then flew to the key hole. With a spray of fairy dust, she cast her spell and the door unlocked without a problem, ‘There, I hope you know what you are getting into.’

Ariane rushed into the room, looking for her friends. The half-orc was holding Mira in a lock while Lex brandished what looked like a wooden bat, but on closer inspection had two ends that resembled a penis. He drew back the wooden double-penis and whacked it on the muscled back of Jaraka. With a crack, it splintered and broke in half, the orcess not really phased by the hit.

‘What did yo—,’ Jaraka turned her head to him and her words stuck in her throat as she spotted the splintered wooden dick in hands, ‘You’ve done it now, elf-boy!’ She let go of Mira and charged Lex, quickly overwhelming him and pinning him to the ground.

Mira followed suit a split-second after, trying to get the orcess off Lex.

They were tangled on the ground, wrestling with the half-orc woman. Mira cried out in pain as the orc turned and pawed her breast savagely, and Lex tried to kick the orc woman in the head with his knee.

Ariane didn’t know where to look in the tangle of flesh on the ground, and tried to figure out how to help her friends come out of it unharmed—or at least with little harm. She couldn’t risk an offensive spell like fire or lightning, besides, she didn’t really want to hurt the half-orc warrior either. Scaring her might be a good idea, but Ariane didn’t know what a warrior like her might be afraid of. Starting with her own fears, she figured a big, nasty spider might do the trick. She spun her spell, chanting it in the language of her people.

The spell was nearly complete when disaster struck: Ariane’s wild magic acted up, throwing her spell from her control. The illusion that was to be a nasty spider, changed and shifted. In the end, all that came of it was a tiny, extraordinarily cute mouse.

Ariane rubbed her temples, ‘Oh no, why now?!’

Nevertheless, the illusory mouse did the task Ariane had intended for the spider. It approached the wrestling ball of limbs, and squeaked as intimidatingly as it could.

Jaraka looked at the mouse in terror and tried to get away from the tangle, ‘Aaaa! No! Go away! No mice, I hate mice!’ Throwing the two naked friends from her frame like fleas from a dog, Jaraka howled as she crashed through the half-opened window. She ran along the balcony and down the stairs at full tilt, not paying attention to her nakedness in her panic. The illusion run it’s course, vanishing in thin air,

Ariane stepped up to her friends, ‘Mira, Lex, are you alright?’

‘Just a few bruises, we’ll be fine,’ Mira said and then grabbed her shirt to protect her modesty, blushing.

Lex followed suit grabbing his own shirt to hide his crotch, ‘Yeah, thanks for coming to safe us. How’d you know the orc woman was afraid of mice?’

Ariane coughed, ‘Oh, uhm, female intuition?’

Behind them, muffled screams and a squeaking bed reminded them that there was one more person in trouble.

.

Could they finally get a good night’s sleep?
