Waking up in the clinic.

"Wha!?" Norman shot awake with a cry. What the hell!? Where am I!?

"You're awake!"

Norman turned his head to see Dr. Romani, Chaldea's head of the medical department, "Dr. Roman? What...what happened?"

The smile on the doctor's face fell at that, and the man sighed, "It's a bit of a long story..."

Norman stared at the clinic ceiling as he contemplated what Romani had told him. Chaldea was the last remaining piece of humanity left, Lev was a traitor, the staff had been gutted, and the only way to fix this was for the only two remaining Master candidates to fix seven Singularities before they ran out of time.

Norman was pulled from his musings by the sound of the door opening.

"See, Mashu, I told you he'd be awake!" exclaimed the orange haired girl he'd noticed before everything went to hell.

"Gudako, he should really have some more time to rest." Mashu said as she was pulled along by the cheerful girl.

"It will be fine. We're only going to be here for a little while, just until Olga finishes her newest rant/lesson with Ritsuka." The girl then turned to him with a grin, "Hey there, I'm Gudako! I heard you were a friend of Mashu's so I was wanting to meet you."

"...You could say that..." Norman said as he absently made sure his earrings were on. Well, this may not be exactly what the doctor ordered, but maybe some fun would take his mind off things...
