Mira and Lex went to the local bathhouse.

“I’ll go and have a bath,” Mira stood from her seat, she turned to the other girls, “Anyone want to come to the bathhouse?”

Lex’s ears perked up when he heard her announcement.

“I think I’ll have to go visit my old master,” Ariane said.

“I’d love to, but I was planning to find a cards game and fleece some merchants for all their coin,” Khala grinned.

“Fine, what about you?” Mira turned to Lex, “I know you could use a bath.”

“What’s that supposed to mean? But sure, I’ll come along,” Lex said.

“Well, don’t to anything I wouldn’t do, love-birds,” Ariane said and waved at them as she headed towards the Academy.

… at the bathhouse …

Mira had just discarded her last piece of clothing into one of the lockers provided for bath guests when she grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her toned body. She was looking forward to some hot water caressing her skin and soothing her muscles after the long journey, especially her bottom had become a bit sore from riding a horse all day. The swordswoman left the changing rooms and followed the signs to the women’s bath.

Mira reached the site and stood in awe a second, it was a big hall with a massive pool in the middle and some smaller ones in alcoves at the sides. The walls, ceiling and floor were decorated with intricate mosaics. Letting the sun shine in, a canopy of glass crowned the hall. Through the middle of the pool, a stone wall separated the women’s from the men’s bath. She looked around the room, seeking a place to call her own for the time. Many other women were enjoying their day at the public bath, young or old. Some were hiding their bodies with the towels they had and others, who were more confidant or carefree, stayed in the nude. Mira spotted a pool near the wall that was unoccupied and headed there.

She kept her towel on all the way there and only revealed herself a moment before she sunk beneath the hot water. She let out a satisfied breath as the water her hit her skin, closing her eyes and enjoying her bath.

… in the men’s bath ...

Lex was a bit disappointed that it was not a mixed bath, but he could not change whatever customs were held in the city. He was reclining in the pool and saw the same scene was Mira, but from the other side of the separating wall. Sadly for Lex, there were only some burly men for him to ogle. And some men even ogled his lithe body, Lex felt a bit uncomfortable under their gaze. But he noticed a man strangely fascinated with the wall in one of the alcoves. He decided to head over there and watched as he looked through a small hole in the wall.

“She’s a nice one, isn’t she?” the man talked to himself.

“Hey, can I have look too?” Lex asked him.

“What? Sure, kid, go ahead,” the man stepped aside, “Be quiet, we don’t want her to notice us.”

Lex went up to the hole and looked through. There was a woman in a small pool on the other side, oblivious to being watched. But he knew that skin tone, the hair and those muscles. It was Mira, sitting alone in the hot water pool, and Lex couldn’t believe his luck.

“Pretty nice, huh? I’d like to have a tumble with that one, look at those perky tits,” one said, “I bet her cunt is tight as a vice, maybe she’s even a virgin, never know with those warrior wenches. Pity you can’t see her butt, I bet it’s really firm,” he said.

Despite Lex’s better judgement, he blew a fuse. “You fucking pig! She’s not some piece of meat!” He shouted far to loudly.

“Are you mad, kid? What do you think you are doing?!” the man hushed him.

“What? Lex, is that your voice?” Mira turned to the wall and covered herself. She rose from the pool and draped the towel around herself. Inspecting the wall, Mira found the peephole and looked through it. The elf caught a glimpse Lex’s ear as he retreated from it. “Lex, you damn pervert! If I get you there’ll be hell to pay!” She shouted through the wall before she turned and stormed out of the bath.

“You know her, kid?” the man asked.

Lex laughed nervously, “We are friends.”

“Ha! Better find a present for her, she’ll be damn mad at you,” the man laughed and left the peephole, now that nobody was there to watch.

Lex hanged his head in shame and headed out of the baths too, dreading meeting up with Mira again.

At the entrance, Mira was waiting for him with a murderous stare in her eyes, “I hope it was worth it, pervert. I really thought you changed.”

“Mira, it was an accident, I didn’t know it was you before I looked through the hole!” Lex said truthfully.

“So you wanted to spy on some other girl?” Mira frowned, “Whether it’s me or somebody else, Lex. It’s not right.”

“I know, I’m sorry,” Lex said, “I’ll make it up to you.”

“I’d like to see you try, pervert,” Mira huffed, “I’m not so easily bribed.”

The two headed outside, Mira walking ahead in a very bad mood. She had wanted to relax in the baths, but those peeping perverts ruined it all.
