Mira wasn’t so easily fooled.

“Wait a second,” Mira said, “Ariane’s hair is in the left tunnel and Khala’s in the right? Why would they take them to different places?” She snapped her fingers, “The little bastards are trying to trick us. It’s the middle tunnel, has to be!”

“You sure?” Lex asked, a bit confused.

“Just follow me,” Mira said and went down the middle path. The two of them crept through the winding tunnel under the mountain. It sometimes dipped lower and rose again, making it hard to tell if they were going deeper or higher up the mountain.

Suddenly, Lex’s keen eyes spotted a trap and Mira was just about to step on the pressure plate. He didn’t have any time to react and just rushed forward. The half-elf grabbed Mira and tried to yank her backwards.

Startled, Mira froze with Lex hugging her from behind and cupping her breasts over her chainmail. She craned her neck, “What the hell are you doing, pervert? This is neither the time nor the place.”

“I-I sorry, th-there’s a pressure plate right in front of your foot,” Lex stammered.

Mira looked down and could see it now, “Oh… Why didn’t you just say so?”

“I didn’t want to scream and alert the goblins,” Lex laughed quietly.

“Well, thank you. You can let go off my chest now,” Mira said, “… pervert.”

Lex let go off her like she was on fire, letting her step back, “S-Sorry, I didn’t mean to grab there. L-Let’s continue.”

Mira chuckled and smirked to herself as she stepped around the trap and continued along the path. Soon, the tunnel widened and they could see some faint light ahead.

“There’s light ahead, maybe a bigger cavern. Let’s extinguish the torch and stay out of sight,” Lex suggested.

Mira nodded and snuffed out the flame with her canteen. They both followed the light and their path arrived in a great cavern, with huts and tents built by the goblins. Strangely, they seemed to be mining silver here and a few men where among the goblins giving orders here and there.

“Goblins working together with men? What is going on here?” Lex wondered.

“I don’t know but we found what we were looking for, look,” Mira pointed towards the **** girls and the cages holding more nude women. She then looked to the big tent further in the cavern. The troll Lex had talked about was standing beside it, “Shit, looks like we have no luck at all today. Do you see Khala or Ariane around somewhere?”

Lex strained his eyes and scanned the surroundings, “No… sorry. They must’ve taken them inside one of the tents or huts.”
