Home and to bed

You're lying on your bed reading a few pages of a novel before bed when your phone buzzes. You're close to bedtime, and the only light is a warm lamp next to the bed. It's a call. You look at the phone. It's a number you don't recognize.

"Nah," you think to yourself, and let it go to voicemail.

Almost immediately your phone buzzes again, with a message. You glance over at the screen, see that it's from Sara.

SARA: Dude, I can't wait for my wedding. For either of us. ;-) YOU: Oh yeah? You have plans for me?

SARA: BIG PLANS. SO MANY PLANS.

You know exactly what Sara means, and notice that your body begins to get turned on.

YOU: I will enjoy these plans, won't I?

SARA: Yes.

The "..." box stays on screen—and longer, and longer. Finally you put the phone down and begin to get ready for bed. You wander into the bathroom and have just fished out your toothbrush from the medicine cabinet when you hear the chime of another message.

Curious, like a fish to a lure, you leave the toothbrush and go to the phone.

SARA: But there's a catch.

YOU: Didn't you already make me agree to a catch, when we were in the bar?

SARA: A different catch.

No response is the best response here, you think. You go back to the bathroom, phone in hand.

SARA: You have to tell me *all* about it. ASAP.

YOU: What's the 'it'?

SARA: o_O Do you promise?

You brush your teeth while contemplating what to write back.

YOU: Promise to tell you...what goes down?

SARA: Well, I already know WHO

YOU: ...

SARA: Haha got you. You have to promise to give me the play-by-play.

YOU: Live?

SARA: Yes

YOU: Won't that be distracting...for someone?

SARA: Fine. A summary *immediately* after.

YOU: k

SARA: PROMISE

YOU: I promise

SARA: Leave me a vm, I like hearing your voice and it's hotter that way.

YOU: No hints?

SARA: Answer the phone next time, doofus

You switch views and realize that whoever called left you a message.
